Okya, first of all , is this located in the Land?

we will be at Epcot on Sat for opening and were wondering if everyone else heads for this first thing or are people still heading for Test track and Mission Space?

We headed straight for Soarin' last Sat. at park opening and the line said 10 minutes, but way longer than that. We road it twice and then went to Test Track which was already 40 minutes. Then TT broke down so we decided just to head to AK and avoid TT all together.

We were at Epcot on Friday and used this strategy: get to park before it opens, at opening my husband went immediately to Soarin to get FP for 4. I took kids to Test Track. They attraction has an area you go into and watch a short little intro video before queing up for the actual car ride. We waiting for DH right outside the entrance before watching the movie and DH came within 5 minutes and we walked right in. Still waited approx. 10 minutes to get in the actual car. After TT, walked right into Mission Space which is very close. By the time we were finished with Mission Space, it was our FP time.
This worked perfectly! Soarin' was amazing!

Bring your cellphones so you can keep in touch if you do choose to split up to get FP. We used them a lot.

Enjoy!

We were at Epcot on May 9. We arrived around 2:00 in the afternoon. We went to Soarin and the posted wait time was 55 mins. It took us 15 mins. to get on the ride. We decided to ride again later on and the posted wait time was 65 mins. It took us 30 mins. this time to get on the ride. So the moral of the story is that you can't always go by the posted wait times.

We got to Soarin' at about 11AM on Saturday. Posted wait was 20 minutes, we waited maybe 10. Later on that day, went back for dinner (about 7:30PM) and posted wait was 75 minutes.... It is a fabulous ride and worth the wait. I wanted to do it again but DH vetoed in favor of getting a spot for IllumiNations. :confused3
