Why the constant need to refer to the OP as a "troll"? If you read the post carefully it is not saying anything negative about a person with either a hidden or visible disability, only about those who he/she perceives to be "scammers". The anger with which some posters use the word "troll" is just as rude and insulting as they belive the OP to be.

I think you're misunderstanding the term troll. People aren't actually refering to the mythical creature who sends you back back back on the Maelstrom, but it's more or less internet speak for someone purposely trying to stir up trouble on the forum by posting something they know will illicit negative responses.

If your goal was to open a hornets nest, you succeeded. If not, you should go into hiding now. I think Osama has some available hideouts.:happytv:

Very true! The next step after opening a thread like this is the witness protection program.

:sad2: this is not going to be a good thread buddy. I think you should ask yourself if you were in there shoes (regardless of there situation) would you want someone thinking about you this way?? Im just saying :confused3 You have no idea what is effecting that persons ability to walk. SMH :sad2:

We get one for my in-laws and my dad each time we go to Disney, mainly because the walking gets to them. No they are not disable but its hard on them to do all that walking for a week. We have tried multiple times to park the ECV and wait in line especially at Animal Kingdom and they won't let us. We have to take it in onto the ride. So please know that before passing judgment on people.

I think this is an issue. I guess there are people taking ECVs where they don't need them because Disney likes to tell them to. I asked someone at Jungle cruise where I should park my moms wheel chair while we ride (we planned to get in line normally). I was directed to a separate line even after I said we just wanted to park since she could get out. So we went through that line and ended up ahead of everyone else since there was only one other person in a chair in front of us and they couldn't transfer so had to wait for a different boat. Due to this the 9 of us in the party ended up on a boat with no wait while the line was at least 10-15 min.

Mom did need the wheel chair. She was having knee surgery a few months later so her knee really hurt to walk on. But she could walk and stand for short times and did because keeping the knee still also bothered her after a while.

I won't judge if people need them or not, but if someone doesn't need to skip the line disney shouldn't be suggesting it or even forcing it.

I think this we've seen enough of this thread, so I'm going to close it now.
