Caryn I LOOOOVE that stamp :lovestruc I think it looks spectacular.
Can you make the H sparkly on the aisle runner?

(And girls yes, it is VERY helpful to have someone who does all this for me. If she didn't you can be certain I would pay someone to do it!! PS: For a nominal fee, I will rent Caryn out. )

The stamp looks great, and great job on the Monogran Caryn!! I can't figure out my photoshop either. :confused3

Lindsay everything is going to look great!!! You must be getting very excited now!

lindsay,

PLEASE let me do this for you! it would be soooooo cool!

LOVE THAT

ok. lots of work went into lindsay's wedding today...

the invitations have officially been started...

look at that thick stack that i get to cut (lucky me...) ignore the very messy living room, i'm working from home today...

these are annoying me...i'm going to cut them in half, so i only need to do 50 stamps, for a total of 13 pages, but the stamp is so detailed that it doesn't stamp well sometimes...

then, i came up with a winner monogram...ignore the gray. something is wrong with my photoshop (i suspect user error) and it won't make the "H" pink...

lindsaymonogram2-1.jpg

i think i'll use this monogram for the aisle runner and for labels to close the invitation envelopes...

I love the monogram too. Oh how I wish I had the DIS when I got married. You all have so many nice details that I would have loved to have.

yeah, we can do that. i'll give you paint choices soon. i was thinking light sparkle pink with black other lettering...

Lindsay I am so jealous you have a Caryn to help you!! Everything looks so beautiful!!

I have a tip for the photoshop so the H comes out pink at least this is what I need to do to see my STD in purple. You have to go to page setup and on the printer and paper tab change the printer to reflect a color printer. Once you do that you should see it in print preview in color and when printing. HTH!

thanks! mark was playing around with it and i think he got it working. the biggest thing is that i have to print that monogram out to be 3ft by 3ft...i think i have that much figured out though...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
well, i just finished stamping, so i'm waiting for them to dry. i need to cut everything out and to shape now and test crystals for the stamped part. the more i think about that, the more i think it might not work...
also, for the responder cards, i was originally going to make them a smaller version of the invites, but i think i might vary that a little bit with either printing them on ultra white cardstock (same as i used for the stamps) and then stamping to the ege, or printing them on the pink paper and doing the same thing...we'll see how that goes. i'll need to get started on them next, so if you have any wording that you want lin, nows the time.
ok. here's the pic of the stamp with rose colored swarovski's...
i think it looks ok. i just have to figure out how many i'm going to need to use and where i should strategically place them...
Lindsay, I am loving everything!
Caryn, you are awesome!
I wish I had more time or was not so lazy!
We are planning on spending a lot of money on an aisle runner.
But I am either too lazy, or don't have the time or talent to do it myself.
I haven't decided which excuse to use yet... :lmao:
We could try and make one first if you want. We could do that and tassel tieing with the girls. Just let me know.
well...in photoshop i blew up the image to be 36"x36" and i was going to print it out on a million differnt pages and piece it together to make pattern. if that doesn't work, i'll have to think of another plan. i'll get back to you on that...
you can get aisle runners at joann fabrics and at save-on-crafts.com!
I love the aisle runner! I didnt know you could make your own for so cheap! I am wondering, who would set up the aisle runner for you at the WP? And will they charge you to do that? (I'm guessing yes lol). Everything looks awesome!! :cutie:
lindsay,
can you look at this site and pick one? also, i think the 75ft will fit, but i'm not sure. can you ask diane exactly how long that aisle is?
http://www.save-on-crafts.com/aislerunners1.html
cosi-i'm not sure how we'll get it put out, maybe we'll have them set it up beforehand and we'll seat everyone at the sides of the aisles, instead of down the center...
Caryn -- I was told that the center aisle gets closed off so that no one walks down it before the bridal party. I don't know if that is the case, but some of the WP images I found on webshots, etc. when I was looking for one for our newsletter, had the center aisle roped off with ribbon strung across the last pews.
Hi Lindsay, everything looks great so far. I love the aisle runner idea!!! it'll look beautiful
Caryn, i have a plotter here at work if you want I can print the monogram out for you.
cam, that would be so perfect! i wonder if they provide the ribbon and if we can make it match lindsay's colors...we're really trying to minimize the wp carpet as much as possible.
carolina-i'm TOTALLY going to take you up on that...nice weather we're having huh??????
pirate: Sorry Lindsay I don't mean to hijack your thread but I know some of the answers for you.
Thanks Caryn! I will have to check it out and I thought that is what you might be doing but I wanted to ask you anyway.
Cosi they won't set it up you have to do it and there is no fee. Caryn, I asked my coordinator and yes the asile is 75ft. HTH!!
Hi Lindsay
I have to say I love Caryn's idea for an aisle runner. A friend of mine made one for her daughter's wedding, and it was not only beautiful but very special to her.
To all you brides visiting Lindsay's journal, I'm the lucky woman who is Caryn's mother-in-law. She's extremely creative, and her Disney wedding was wonderful. I know Lindsay's will be too.
Caryn, good luck keeping your kitties off the aisle runner when you make it. Personally, if it was MY aisle runner, I'd love to have little colored paw prints scattered all over it! But I think you're sister wants something a little more dignified . . .:rotfl2:
Lindsay, I hope you and Chris aren't having any problems from the storm. Thank goodness you're not getting married during hurricane season.
