Friday for me, I'm off tomorrow. I thought about going to see a movie tonite but I was just too lazy. Sad! I ate too much today too, but not too bad, calorie-wise. I also resisted krispy kremes at work. My work is getting really bad. I drew everyone pics of my design of our "new uniforms" everyone got a kick out of them. I wish I could draw on here! Anyway, it was a rendition of the black and white striped jail uniform with bunny slippers and rose colored glasses. One of the guys wanted printed on it "the floggings will continue until morale improves" Its getting really really bad. Used to be a fun job, it really did. Sorry...whining.

I only have 1 day off and then 6 days again so I have have have to clean tomorrow. I did get a little exercise today so hopefully I will be back in the groove.

I started reading your trip report yesterday. The resort you guys stayed at looks Really nice! :cloud9: I can’t wait to read the rest! You are making me really want to go back to Orlando and that just isn’t in the cards for us this year.

Thanks Amber. I know I shouldnt worry about the weight , but it really did surprise me. Not that I gained, just that much.

I messed up yesterday too. One day off and back to work on saturday threw me off so I was very bad. Cheetos, doritos, and some m&ms were in there. It wasnt pretty. But I did better today. I did get exercise yesterday, a little , but none today.

Had to get my boy off to camp today. He will be gone til friday. I know that supposed to be party time, but I have to work the whole time anyway. Even a midshift this week, Yuck!

Question for you. Are you hungry after eating only 1000 calories or so a day? The reason I ask, is b/c I was told to eat at least 1400 calories a day in order to prevent my body from going into starvation mode. I might be wrong, though!! Just curious.

Congrats too on resisting Krispie Kreme!! I'd have been a goner! ;)

If I do it right and eat the right foods and eat at the right times, I dont get hungry. I am insulin-sensitive tho and if I have sugar or carbs without protein I definitely will get hungry. (one of the reasons for doing nutrisystem is they put extra protein in everything) That is why I am struggling right now. When I fall off the wagon its a real struggle to get balanced again, it really takes concentration. The exercise helps balance out the carbs also, and I havent been getting enough of that lately either.

If your doctor says 1400 that is what I would do tho. My "burn" is so low that I have to go lower to lose wieght. This has been true for me my entire life.

I have been feeling lousy lately. It has some to do with work (which sucks) and some to do with food I'm sure. At least I got some stuff done today, and I got exercise. That will get me going I am sure. Food today was bad, but mostly because I just never sat down and had a meal, just grabbed stuff. But once I get going on the exercise I can get the food going too.

I bought a lottery ticket. I plan on winning tonite so I can quit my job. :goodvibes

I forgot to check my lottery numbers today! What a waste if I went to work and didnt need to. Anyway, still trying to get back on track. Did 20 mins on the bike at work, but thats all I had time for today. I'm still feeling sick tho, and taking it a little easy. I dont get the holiday off like everyone else! See you all tomorrow, hopefully I'll do better!

Blech! I have been sick and miserable! I had to leave work early today and come home and sleep. I have to work tomorrow tho and I really dont want to call in sick. Hopefully I will feel better by then.

I am going to tell you a little story about something that happened at work today. It shows a teensy bit of "why I hate my job, or at least, management"
My supervisor ( a good guy, only partially warped by the higher ups) is talking to his wife on the phone. I am working a position, there is 1 person on break, and 1 person doing a training course. The facility manager is in the room, because there is a tel-con in the morning. This is where a lot of managers get on the phone and say (speaker phone mind you) things like "its a pretty day here, we dont think there will be delays" Over and Over. The asst manager (operations manager officially, or the supervisors supervisor) is also in the room, looking at the schedule. Suddenly my supervisor says kinda what??/ into the phone. Makes a wierd face you know. Calls his wife back, she finally answers. SHE HAS BEEN IN A CAR ACCIDENT! He states this fact to the room. Me and another peon lowlife employee say....go ....go now and get her! The asst manager.................WALKS OUT OF THE ROOM...............no, I'll cover it for you ...go.....no ....leaves approved....NOTHING.............the manager............ASKS HIM A QUESTION ABOUT THE WORK LOGS 3 DAYS AGO!..........meanwhile...another low-life peon employee....who just came down from the tower and has been on break...maybe 2 minutes, walks in....and we tell him what happened..of course he says....I've got it...go now. Still no response from management. We now have no one on break, so we close a position (mine) so that we can get a break rotation going and work the rest of the shift without supervision. I am very sick and miserable, but I wait for the next shift to get there before I leave (of course) The question is.....will anyone care if we worked short (and sick) to cover managements butt? Not a chance, odds are (extremely high odds) they didnt even notice.

Anyway, no exercise yet today and I am pretty sure I weigh 2000 lbs. I really need a kick in the pants to get going.
