and help us with your bags? also, do they all add the tip already?
I don't like that, because I like to tip on service provided.

I have search this form and didn't see any info on it.

I looking for a really great company. I want this to a really special
time and don't want to get just ok.

I really appreciate any help.

We will need round trip from MCO to Universal resorts.

In my experience, you generally are met by your driver in the baggage claim area and they help you with your luggage. They don't put it all on a cart or anything like that, but the driver generally will take one or more of your bags to the car and load them all for you.

The tipping policy seems to vary from provider to provider, so you'll need to check that out with the companies you are considering. FL Tours, the sponsor of this board, does not include a gratuity in their prices, for example, but I have read reports of other services that do include it automatically.

Unfortunately, I have yet to read 100 percent positive reviews of any of the companies with which I am familiar.

:welcome: to the DIS boards!!!
There are many towncar companies in the Orlando area. I have used Tiffany Towncar as well as FL Tours (a board sponsor). I think you will find that most companies have had some 'issues' at some time or another. No one is perfect. But, if you read various posts here on the transportation board, you will find that there are companies that seem to have fewer bad reports than others.
Most will meet you in the baggage claim area, with a sign with your name on it. Do not go off with a driver just because he 'seems' to be there for you. There are drivers who prey on those who are unfamilier with how it works. If you don't see a sign with your name on it, ask around. Your driver will be there someplace. Then, he/she will help you out of the terminal with your luggage, load it in the car and off you go. Most do not put an automatic gratuity on either. There is no way I would use a company that did this.

When you reserve a limousine your chauffeur will meet you in the baggage claim area (level 2) next to the information desk, with your name on a sign. Then will help you with your bags. The normal chauffeur gratuity is 20%, but of course the gratuity depends on the quality of service.

Here's a few great quality limousine companies in Orlando:

Starline
Carey
GNS
5 Star
Showtime

I have Sunray for every trip in the past three years, I think about seven times so far. They don't use limos, but I have been picked up in an SUV or a towncar. Bob or Roger have met me everytime me a luggage cart and put my luggage on the cart. All I have to do it point to the bags on the carosel. They have always given me (an everyone that I have recommended them to) great service.
They don't list rates specifically for MCO to Universal on their website, but it you can call or email them for a rate. But they only use towncars or SUVS, unfortunately, no limos.

Thank you everyone for the info. It's just I was shocked when I called one
Limo company that is recommended alot and asked them about meeting
in the baggage area and would they help?

I was told "well....it depends on the driver":sad2: On top of that they add the
gratuity ahead of pickup. No incintive there.

Thank you goofy4tink for the warm welcome. :goodvibes

I think I read that true "limo" service as in stretch limosuine adds the tip automatically.

Where as transfer service, such as towncar, VAN, or SUV usually doesn't add the tip (depending on the company).

We used SUNRAY. Great service. Very friendly.
Yes they met us at the luggage area, helped us with the bags, road in an SUV (both ways) and did a food store stop.

I do not remember our cost - but lets say roundtrip was $100.
We tip 20% - so on the way to WDW resort we would tip $10 and on the way back to MCO we would tip $10.

Enjoy which ever transportation you select !
