Lime Green Really Does Work !

We wore our Home Depot lime-green Mickeys during our trip from October 17th - October 26th. We were spotted by several other DIS'ers: hello to Mickey-Maniac, KatsMom, Rhonda93, and NancyJoyx2!!

It was great to meet other folks from the DIS. If you're planning a trip soon, don't forget to wear yours proudly!!

Very cool...very cool! I just picked up some of these in Sonic Boom and Alien Green! I've been spotted before wearing my lime green ribbons, but these cute ears will be more fun. How did you wear them? Did everyone, or just you wear them? Did you wear them only to the parks, or everywhere?

I'm so glad to hear that! I'm beginning to think that this upcoming Solo trip I may not be nearly as alone as I once thought I might be... keep an eye out for me, Dismembers (wait, dismembers... that just sounds wrong! LOL), cause here I come!

The lime green Home depot Mickey's did get me to say hello to your sweetie, who was wearing one. I also met you after my DH and I scuba with your sweetie and his daughter. Very nice meeting all of you! It was a small world again at the adventures club! So much fun!

We were there almost the same dates as you...I had my home depot lime green mickey on my back pack and not only did no one notice us...I didnt spot any lime green either! Darn it!!
This is the second trip we have done the lime green thing on... my husband thinks I am !!! Oh well...I guess I entertain him with my lime green escapades if nothing else!!

My husband thinks I'm crazy also He still says he's not wearing his lime green Mickey head....but he will, you'll see. Of course he will be the one that someone spots...lol.

Figaro1 ... I'm so glad you posted. I have to apologize for forgetting your UserID. I remembered meeting you & your hubby, but all I could remember was "that DiveQuest couple" !!

And yes . . . the trip was so much fun. Kungaloosh!!!

(To those of you who asked . . . everyone in my group sported the lime-green Mickey. I made pins and laminated them. We each wore one every day. They stand out proudly on the group photo we had taken on Main Street !! )

We were there from Oct. 22-26th. and wore our lime green DIS buttons and DH wore his t-shirt one night. The only comments I received were from 4 or 5 CM wanting to know about the button and the website.....hmmmm.

I do find making some informal plans do help in meeting up, even if only exchanging cell numbers. I always meet up with DIS'ers there.
