Lime green DIS Strong bracelets! What do you think of DD's idea? Update: Poll added..

Just popping in to share DD11's (aka AmoDolphin on the teen board) brilliant idea: what do you think of lime green DIS Strong bracelets? We could use them to identify each other in the parks, and if we make any profit it could go to Pete to support the boards (or to the Red Cross or other charity). In about five minutes of research I found a place that makes them. We'd have to get 500 of them, at a $1.07 apiece. So if we charged $2.00 for them and requested self-addressed stamped envelopes to mail them in, we'd clear a little. We may be able to find a place to order a smaller quantity. You can get them embossed with any saying.

They are for awareness of certain things like cancer, lukeimia, etc...

Some places can sell custom made ones though.

I might buy one. When I'm not at work, I already wear a pink one (Breast cancer awareness/support). I think DH has a navy blue one that was a custom for his job (he works at Best Buy).
