Lily's Disney Trip in the Making

My daughter Lily who is 4 was granted a wish by Make a Wish and chose Disney. The wish team came in May and we got another call last week that they were going to start making plans. I have so many questions ....i thought I mightbe able to get a wealth of info on these boards. We hope to go in late October or beginning of November. I am not even sure of what is next in the process...though everyone is very excited for this..especially Lily who cannot wait to meet all the princesses!

That is very exciting for your little Lily! This board is amazing and full of people who seem to know the answer to absolutely everything. We just came back from our Disney vacation and although I know by no means an expert I am definately a planner. Any questions I would just post here and sure you would find the answer!

No, our trip was not through Make a Wish but I have heard of GKTW and Make a Wish (what amazing organizations).

We stayed last week at the Poly.

How exciting for Lily and your family! We go on our trip the end of this month and will be staying at GKTW. We've not stayed there before, our other two boys' wish trip was to CA. But my sister and several good friends have stayed there for their childrens' wish trips. Everyone has raved about how amazing it is! We are looking forward to being able to relax, have somewhere right there for the kids to play, and the comfort of knowing we are not alone...that every other family there has some inkling of what our life is like! Enjoy these boards, I'm so glad I found them while trying to plan our trip! I've learned so much and feel much more prepared for our trip!

I have heard all amazing things about GKTW as well. I think Lily will love the report itself and probably would be content there! What other boards here have you posted on. I do ot even know where to start with everything.

I'm glad that Lily gets to go on a wish trip. There has been tons of information on these boards! I have stayed up late reading a lot of PTRs trying to plan for Trevor's wish trip too. So many things to do in such a short time! I can't wait to hear all about her trip!
