Lilly Belle question

Has anyone ridden in her lately. When we were there last November, they were not allowing riders. DH and DMIL were on the Walking in Walt's tour and had hoped but no luck. I have seen posts where several DISers had ridden in her lately. Anyone have info?

My daughter and I rode lillybell on Sept 12th. We went and asked one of the conductors if we could ride. He said that it had just left so we had to wait for it to get back and he had to make sure someone could sit with us. It worked out so someone was back to take us at the same time the train pulled in. It was a really great treat for people who love Disneyland and Walt Disney.

I took a lone trip in the Lily Belle last week A much better experience than the first time back in March. From my understanding so long as she's out (weather permitting) and they have the staffing (which can be tricky) you can get on.

Like I said I was just on the Lily Belle last week (9/10 - my birthday to be exact) and I am far from a member of Club 33. I had to check in a couple of times throughout the day for them to find the proper staffing to get me on and I eventually got my chance around 3 PM.

I can understand them saying it would be too hot though. There's no AC in the car, just a couple tiny fans and they'll have the windows open but it gets HOT in there.

We rode in the Lily Belle as part of our Adventures by Disney Backstage Magic trip...in January..and was HOT!. Great experience with a guide who was very knowledgeable. I really recommend this trip to any Disney fan . WELL worth the cost.

I just rode in the Lilly Belle also, I think it was Sept 8th or 9th. Hey Belle Ella, I think you're the one that spotted my LGMH as we walked across the street to the park the morning of your birthday! Hi again! Any way...we went to the train station on Main Street when we entered the park that morning and the conductor told us to return at 12:15 and there would be someone that could ride with us. This was my 3rd time riding and we've done it this way each time. It can get pretty warm in there when the temps are high since there is no air conditioning.

Yes, riding on the tender is still possible. Just ask the cast member as you enter the train station on Main Street and they'll set you up! Just so you know..it's VERY warm riding up there and there is only room for two.

I think they mean only 2 to ride in the tender car. On the VIP tour we took, the whole group rode in the Lilly Belle - very cool and Vern was awesome as a guide while we were there

Yes, riding on the tender is still possible. Just ask the cast member as you enter the train station on Main Street and they'll set you up! Just so you know..it's VERY warm riding up there and there is only room for two.

Just to add on to this. For safety reasons, Guests may not ride in the tender when the train will be taking on water at New Orleans Square/Frontierland Station.

Also, the final decision to allow Guests to ride in the tender rests with the Engineer(s) running the train. They do reserve the right to refuse to carry Guests for any reason. Most of the time it's due to Safety concerns and whatnot, though, from my experience, there are some Engineers who are more willing to have Guests up front than others.

Guests riding in the tender must board at the Main Street USA Station and ride the Full Circle tour around Disneyland Park, disembarking at Main Street USA Station.
