Hi all,

We have rented point from a US DIS'ser for our Oct trip and she has forwarded letters from the DVC confirming the two studios under our names. The letters have a 12 digit number reservation number printed in the top right corner. I've tried to use the Disneyworld.com reservation checker but I can't get it to accept, mainly because I don't know what phone number it was booked under.

Will I be able to use these reservation numbers to do the 180 + 10 rule next week when I call to make ADRs? I'm just concerned with them being DVC reservations not "normal" ones.

Thanks.

Hi Queenie

I just rang WDW DINE and when asked to do so I just used my home telephone number. Even though you have rented points, the reservation is still in your name.
They will just ask you when and where you will be staying.

Hope this helps.

Well I've tried it on thne website using my home phone number and it didn't take it :( Would the ressie normally show up like that?

I am sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to do.

To make ADR's you just ring the normal number and enter your home phone number, that is all that I did. It doesn't matter if you are renting points or not as long as you are staying onsite.

If you are trying to check your reservation on Disneyworld.com then I don't think you can do this.
DVC members have a place where they can go to check reservations etc. You will not be able to do this though.

OK that's fine, providing they will accept my DVC ressie number for booking the ADRs that's ok. I was trying to check the ressie through the website to see if it was showing on their system but if it won't work that's ok.

They won't ask you for your reservation number, I was not asked, just rang the number entered my home phone number. That was it! No problems at all.

Hi
I think the OP ment she wanted to make ADR at 180 plus 10 days, as she will be staying onsite and can do it for 180 +10 days

The answer is yes, just quote them the ressie number and it will be fine, the person you rented from would have made it in your name anyhow, i know this will be fine as i made all my ADRs for 180 plus 10, including CRT ;)

Good luck with your ADRs AND HAVE A GREAT TRIP XX

I Just held on the phone till it put me through ,when they ask for numbers as im calling from uk anyhow!, they never recognise my number.

Ok. I'll bite. What is this 180 + 10 rule? does this mean as a DVC member I can make adr before anyone else or what?

Hi poggs

As a DVC member or any guest staying onsite, you can ring for ADR's 180 days out and then you are able to book a further 10 days, guests staying offsite cannot book the +10 days.

UK telephone numbers are recognised you just drop the first 0 ie instead of 0161 1234567 it would be 161 1234567.
I have rented points from a DVC member and I just rang and made my ADR's the same way as if I was not renting points. I was not asked for any reservation number.

it means that you can book 180 plus 10 days from date of your check in, so you do not have to ring back everyday to make adrs, available to dvc and onsite disney guests.

I was able to make entire lenght of stay ADRs with one phone call.

I called a few weeks ago to my ADR's and was not asked for my reservation number. The cast member just asked for where we were staying and when we checked in.
