Surprise!

I am awake, and feeling admittedly a little tired. The Freedom Train gets boarded by "Federal Agent #1" around 4:00, that will be it for a while.

But I do enjoy our mornings together AND all the inbetween stuff too! So don't go away, lots more good stuff coming up- including Pt. III in a day or so.

ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE:

maroo just skyped me and asked me to ask you all to please pray for Rachel again! She is sick again, possibly with pneumonia. She will have a chest X-ray in the morning. I know you are all aware that they are supposed to leave for their Dec. trip in les than 2 weeks. Rachel has bounced back many, many times, but with her vast array of other health issues it's always a harder thing for her, I imagine, to do so.

1) S&S is what I watched tonight. I swooned over Hugh Grant and still am trying to figure out Alan Rickman's voice. It's just weird. The movie is soooooooooo good! But do not let your DH anywhere near the TV. He'll be voted out of the man club as per Jordan's orders.

Dad would NOT be voted out because he sits there with you watching the whole thing, and he makes up his own script. the new and modified lines go something like this- "Whilloughby! Why didn't you reply to my letters? Didn't you recieve them?" "oh, well you see, I only actually recieved one, and before I could reply, the aliens came down from space and took me away" He did this when he read the Hobbit aloud to us, and poor Bilbo visited the aliens more than once. I'm not joking, he really does do it.

Mom did stay up waay too late. she didn't get up till ten!

Yeah, he's the greatest improv kind of guy. It is pretty funny, but drives the kids nutz.

He does it to tease the kids, and it always works! He's a MAJOR tease-

One time when he was about 12 he hoisted his sister's bike into a big cherry tree and tied it up with ropes, suspended way up high where she couldn' t get at it. He then got on it, and started pedalling, then called her out of the house. She had been telling him all that morning that he COULDN'T ride her bike.

Thank you guys SO MUCH for praying for Rachel...

Host of errors last night kept me off the DIS for over 12 hours.

Lost my computer cord...battery died...then got to work this morning and had WORK to do. What is up with THAT? Our internet was also down here.

Must be the cold weather.

Anyway...Rachel is not feeling well.

She is at home...not at the hospital. They will do everything they can to keep her out of there...the last place she needs to be is in the hospital. They even scheduled the Xray so that she does not have to wait in a waiting room.

It is scheduled for later today...not sure what time. And don't know how long it will take them to get the results...

They have been VERY serious about her avoiding pneumonia in the past. The doctor has said numerous times that pneumonia could kill her. I have no idea why?? Her lung capacity is already really low.

My guess is that they would do IV's if she actually has pneumonia. But that they will do them at home. Hopefully keep her out of the hospital.

Great news is that Rachel is clear of pneumonia. She has antibiotics now for her bronchitis (which is chronic now that she has fluid in her lungs) and she is cleared for DISNEY! She may have to do 4 breathing treatments a day, which will need to be planned, but that is wonderful news!


Meanwhile...Ellie - the 4 year old going on the trip - DOES have Pneumonia. She went to the doctor where she lives - because she has been sick...and she has it. So...you can add her to your prayer list. It is "walking" pneumonia and she is now on antibiotics...so hopefully we are getting all of the sickies out of the way!
