My dad, (the Operating Room Farting Phantom) loves to recount this story to anyone who will listen. He still laughs at it like a 5 year old doing knock-knock jokes.

Actually, I think I just did! When my DH left 3 days ago for the meetings in the big city (I'll bet you were wondering why I have been on so much the last few days- after tomorrow, my posting blue streak will slow way down again) he took a big box of American Girl doll stuff to sell. I think he pulled in $200 for me!!!

Morning all!! I"ve watching Sense and Sensibility with Emma right now! I that flick!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Those movies aren't even on my man-dar.

I prefer the 10 hour bbc version with Collin Firth as Darcy.....be still my heart.

Oh yes. Just rewatched it recently. Sooooo good. Its practically word for word from the book! And Colin Firth? Need I say more?

We did the BBC version on MOnday and Tuesday nights. All 10 hours. I think we have the script memorized!

Well, it's been a wonderful evening, my friends. Once again we've filled up an entire several hours with mindless pratter- and I"ve loved every minute.

DH comes home tomorrow, so it's the end of a streak. I'll catch you in the mornings though.

Meantime, here's a great recipe for salad dressing using radishes:

Using a blender, on med. speed, blend a bunch of radishes with some buttermilk- I use about a 1/2 cup. Throw in some salt, freshly ground pepper and a little parsley if you have it around.

Blend til smooth.

Remove from blender, then mix in by hand enough mayo until it is the right consistency to your taste. I'd say about 1/4- 1/3 cup. Lastly, throw in a big handful of fresh, snipped dill. Stir and serve with a green salad.

You're responsible for any side effects you may encounter.

Liesa I'm gone for 1/2 a day and come back to your PTR and I'm totally lost! What am I going to to when I'm gone for 10 whole days! It will be impossible to catch up!!!! I need to hire someone to take notes and give me the hilights on your PTR!

Sense and Sensibility? more farting talk? radishes? I'm still trying to connect the dots between these subjects!

Looks like I need to make time to watch that video though!

1) S&S is what I watched tonight. I swooned over Hugh Grant and still am trying to figure out Alan Rickman's voice. It's just weird. The movie is soooooooooo good! But do not let your DH anywhere near the TV. He'll be voted out of the man club as per Jordan's orders.

OK, ok, just reliving the college days. Well sort of. If I was really doing that I'd have had a few screwdrivers to keep me company.

I almost did up a little dacquiri, but somehow that just seems wrong without DH home to enjoy it with. And with rum at $30 a bottle, we don't do that very ofter. AT. ALL!
