I thought I would seize this moment and grasp this momentous occasion of writing the 1,000 post on our little Pre-Trippie Party! I think this monumental event is a golden opportunity to spread a little cheer.

You know I didn't guess Casey's, despite knowing how much Liesa loved it in her last TR (what did you guys go there like three times?) because..

1. of the bun issue
2. and now the new "mix"

I figured that might cross it off the list.

That certainly was good reasoning! I was pretty hacked off when my chili ended up on my pants!! NOW THIS!!! IT'S AN OUTRAGE! Next, they'll take away the cartoons!

But naw, old habits die hard. I'll prolly eat there 3 times again.

Whoa, I learn so much from this PTR! The wedding sounds interesting and crazy!!!

It's true. SHe's asked for it about 12 times. I think I need to get my Excel sheet made up, and send it to her.

If I remember, you did approve the list. So, you should like them all...

WHAT!? First, no more Figaro Fries, now this travesty!!! You know, this isn't the first time they've diddled around with my dogs. Last year they messed with my buns. (Let's not get carried away and take that literally, please!) They went with some whole wheat crap that falls apart in your lap. I know. Stop already!!! Leave them alone!

time was you could PM a tag Fairy!! on one of the "clique" threads I'm on, a CM posts, she's older, refined, sweet, quiet, kind... well she did post something similiar we were cracking up - I PM'd a tag fairy and she got that tag!! every time she deleted it, I'd PM and it would pop back up!! It was hilarious... then it disappeared for real... sad that...

I like the list code!! I learn something new every day!! So many things have changed, and gone - the French Toast loaf was TOO popular! I think the things that got axed were things that took too long to make - like those figaro fries.. They are trying to mainstream too much!! dagnabit!

Maroo I saw that link posted on a CM board, it is sad for the family... people dont want to think about death at Disney... there are a couple of dis'ers who's husbands died at Disney! (heart attacks I think) there's a circle of life we dont like to think about in the Happiest of Places - but if the child was special needs - he may have gotten his wish! He is soarin with Angels now!! No ropes attatched!

The middle link is the one to my blog. The one with the camel on it. I update it about once a week- usually with something about the culture I live in, or what's going on here, sometimes with pictures. It provides a pretty good glimpse of what life is like for me living "over here".

Yeah, the tags were a funny and creative touch to the DISboards. Too bad they are so inactive!

Next place we'll be eating at will be early next week. I'm thinking now of a creative way to present it.

If it's my time to go, I can't think of a better place, than the Happiest Place on Earth. From the happiest place on earth, to simply "the happiest place. Period." A heart attack on BRMRR?? Of all the ways I think I like that one a lot! Nevertheless, I really feel for this family!! It is never, never easy for those who are left behind and are grieving a heavy grief.

Well, once again we find ourselves having lost another month to the annals of time. Some of us have been lucky enough to have gone onto victory having captured the elusive week of freedom found in our collective "Happy Place". For most of the rest of us, we are still slogging away in real life; plotting, planning and deploying our various weapons in hopes of grasping our prize after a long hard fight.

I don't know about your battle fronts, but mine are very active and engaging. The dishes give a hard fight every few hours, laundry is attacking on every side, and my students clamor for my every attention for 8 hours a day!!

So, we all know that as soldiers present themselves as faithful and perserverant, they are rewarded with upgrades and advancements. These equate to better pay and much better benefits, as well as more respect and more responsibility. Last month we spent our time being "Sergeants First Class". Ahhhh, just the name made me feel special and priveleged; but now there's something even better!! Yes indeedy, Peeps! We are NOW:

MASTER SERGEANTS!!! ​

YES SIRS(and Madams!), we are masters of our game plan (well sort of); we are masters of our plan of attack (okay, kind of); we are masters of ummm, what else can we be masters of?! HA!

So, this month we will revel in our new title, not that it means diddley squat, and enjoy the priveleges that lie there within (what are those?! ).

HA!!! It is fun to count down our months though! See that ticker??

I like how you address us in "soldier speak" Of course I'm battling in Basic Training - and I'm lucky I have a dh that will battle the dishes!! I may have to trudge out to a laundromat to slay the Laundry Monster ah well, such is life!!

I'm highly (NOT) anticipating my turn at the 3am online frustration so I can call and beg for ADR's But I wont have to battle intense heat if we choose to eat outdoors in Animal Kingdom - I hear the sandwiches at Flame Tree BBQ are quite delish...
