Actually, the manager himself said that the Yosemite is more popular.

As for FW, I would say yes but only the boat docks. Lots of trees over there ya know?

If it were me, I would book a deluxe room or the Yosemite.

We are booked for Courtyard non-concierge for our stay in a few days but I hope to have concierge offered at checkin. There were none available when we booked our room. Going to write email to the concierge manager to see what he can do. Who knows.

If you want, while we are there I will see if we can have a tour of the Yellowstone Suite. May even be able to take pics for yas.

It's my understanding that the deluxe rooms (also known as junior suites) are at the end of the wings. They have a living area with a seperate bedroom that has 2 queen beds. There is a sofa bed in the living area as well.

Really nice rooms.

All of the concierge CM's at WL said they prefer the Yosemite Suite over the Yellowstone Suite. Unfortunately, the Yosemite Suite is booked for the days we are staying.

Are you staying at WL in a few days? Concierge?

Thinking of going back to WL this December just before Christmas. Last time we were there in 2000 we had a courtyard room. Looking at woodsview this time. Has anyone stayed in a lobby woodsview room with a nice view of MK?

Thanks. That would be wonderful if you are able to see the Yellowstone Suite. I guess I will keep trying for the Yosemite. I'm not going to worry too much about it because I'm sure we will have a wonderful time.

I wonder why all of the concierge rooms are booked? Is it because of the MLK holiday?

They are the Presidential (Yellowstone) and Vice Presidential (Yosemite) suites at WL. The VP suite has always been the favorite even though the P is larger. The Yosemite also has a wrap around balcony that is out of this world. A view I will never forget!!!

There aren't any parking lot views... The rooms that I know are available on ground floor would be Courtyard inner, (overlooking main pool) and Courtyard outer (overlooking pool at the Villis) also the woodsview. Not sure about standard views. Maybe someone else can help.....

Last time we were there, we stayed in Concierge.

The first room we stayed in (7058 Woods) had a balcony view of the Service Area, to the right a small piece of the otter pond, and to the left, the parking lot.

If you were standing at the main entrance facing the Lodge, it would be to your left side. I think it is the North Tower. (Someone correct me if I am wrong?)

Great view of the MK and Fireworks and the castle but not so pleasant view "down" below. If you can get over it, great but it bothered us the whole time so we switched.

Funny thing is, they are calling for this Friday to be the coldest in like 10 years in the NJ area. We won't be concerned as we will be at the "House of Mouse!"

Tim, yes we DID get the Lodge! Looks like we got a Courtyard room but I am hoping to have concierge offered at checkin. Who knows.

What certifications do you have. My DH has his CCNA, CCDP, CCNP and a couple of others.

May I ask what you do?
