I'll be printing out my "Disney Countdown Paper Chain" tonight! DS and I will cut it out and put it together tonight.

Starting tomorrow morning he'll start cutting one link at a time until the day we leave! He really enjoyed doing this in May for our last trip. Only downfall was that he thought if he could cut more than one ring at a time then we would leave sooner

Mom still doesn't have an answer on whether or not she can handle a flight back home with her condition! Well we booked a flight anyway in hopes the Dr.s will give her the Okay! She'll have better care here in the states(heart surgery is done so often nowadays). Shopgirl,Thanks for asking!

Happy Birthday Ratpack...Know how you feel!! Hubby just had his BD on Sunday. DS wants to know why we don't have BD parties like he does every year. Told him once you get our age, you don't want to celebrate it, you want it to go away.

Speaking of my husband, we are having this ongoing debate about what the Mickey Waffles Do they have the generic "waffle pattern" on them?? I remember them being real thick and he says they have the face of like the waffler in the catalog. Can someone settle our debate??

You know, I did this in 2001 for our trip when Kate was 3...I took Construction paper strips and counted out 30...looped to make a chain and took one off each night before bed...helped in 2 ways..first...she didn't ask me if we were going to Disney today...and, she actually was excited to go to bed!

AC and Kim...I will continue to keep Mom on my daily prayer list!

That's how I and my DS felt!

Each of the chains has a character/theme on them. I didn't use construction paper, just printer paper with the graphics. DS loves it.

Kimmar & AC - Plenty of PD is coming your way. Please keep us posted as time permits.

Shopgirl, I CAN"T WAIT!! Memory box directions printed and in my passporter, no PS's yet gonna play it by ear and concierge earn their keep, and packing is easy, everything in my closet and the kitchen sink HaHa.

Liv2cdworld, Love the pictures. Can't wait to see it myself. If you don't mind me asking where was the Santa Claus picture taken at?? Does he make an appearance at the Lodge or somewhere else?? I'd like to get my 2 boys picture with him.

Santa was at the Lodge, but only on Christmas Eve.

I think that you can go to Downtown Disney somewhere to have pics taken with Santa.

Anyone here ever used the child sitting services such as Kids night out or Fairygodmothers?? My oldest can go to the Cubs Den but that still leaves my 2 yr old. Not to keen about strangers, but we would like a couple hours alone. Just wanted some 3rd party opinions.

Hi everyone, hoping one of you WL experts can help me with this. Are all the rooms with king size beds on the first floor since they are handicap accessible? We are hoping for one but I don't like the first floor. I was going to request one on a higher floor but figure I would ask first to see if anyone knew if there were any. Thanks for any help
