:D Those sheets were really sharp. I saw them last Saturday and wished we lived somewhere cold so I could justify buying them. There is a lovely comforter to match them as well.........I loved the moose and bear on them.:D

"Hi everyone, hoping one of you WL experts can help me with this. Are all the rooms with king size beds on the first floor since they are handicap accessible? We are hoping for one but I don't like the first floor. I was going to request one on a higher floor but figure I would ask first to see if anyone knew if there were any. Thanks for any help"

Sandy, I'm not an expert, but I know for sure there is a king bed on the 5th floor!! We were in it! But just call the WL direct and ask...407-824-3200. Also, their fax is 407-824-3232.

Alrighty then! Just booked the WL Sleigh Ride for 7:00 on 12/15!

Just so you know, they take your CC to only HOLD the ride. When you get there, you can either pay the driver the $30 or charge it back to your room. How convenient is THAT?

I booked it for the beginning of our trip because I can quite possibly see us doing it again for our stay. A nice leisurely ride to wind everyone down, including the kids.

Just wanted to post a thanks and Whoo hoo before we left for WL and WDW! DisneyDmbnut I'll look for you on Saturday, we'll be at the WL in the afternoon. I have two little kids who will have to take a rest before we head out to Hoop de Doo for dinner!

I will bring back lots of pics especially of the Christmas decorations(our favorite)! FD to all!

Enjoy your trip. Make sure you send me some christmas decorations pics when you get back!!

I'm so jealous of those of you heading to WDW for Christmas (or before)!! ::yes:: I love that first week in December!! I wish we could have went this year, but 2nd and 4th grade...no way we can make up a whole week

Enjoy that Disney Christmas Magic for me! Here is some PD for your trips * * * * * * * * * * * *

Yikes- we're on the second page! This should get us back where we belong!

I can't wait to see and hear pics and tales from all you holiday WL visitors. OK- I love to hear tales anytime!! I am addicted!

DisneyDmbNut- have fun tomorrow! I'm envious that you can just 'pop' in for a day trip!!!

Have a great weekend everybody!

Yea!!

This time tomorrow, I will be almost home!!!

My mom is going to go with us...I didn't want her to see the Lodge till February, but she is going to have to see it tomorrow...I really want to see the tree.

Where is our Wild, Wacky weather report! I need to know the temp tomorrow!!! ROYYYYYY!!!!!

Good morning all,

I was thinking this morning and I wanted to mention this to you all, especially the ones who will be there soon. The last time my DH and I were there we stopped at Roaring Forks for a bite to eat.

I had the chicken wrap. It was great. They must use the roasted chicken from Whispering Canyon. It was full of chicken. So if you like that sort of stuff go for it. I also used some cesear dressing for it. Nice light lunch or dinner. ::yes::

All have a great, pixie dust filled and magical weekend. :D

Betsy

Remember to walk over to the Villas, the tree in the Atrium is beautiful, with rocking chairs right by the fireplace, I just sat there looking at the tree. (Course I sat longer then I ment to, I just couldn't get up with my bumm knee)

Have a safe trip.

It's also great with the KEN'S Honey Mustard Dressing. I asked the cashier if it was possable to get some Artist Point Cobbler ... Seasonal Berries and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream..she checked with Dana the night manager...I got my Cobbler...

Please, someone who is going soon, take pictures of the Christmas decorations & post them! I'd love to see them! Because of my profession, I am never able to "get away" during the holiday season. (Next year, since Christmas & New Years are on a Sat's, we are not even given *1* day off for a holiday.)

Thanks so much,

I'm So excited!! I just made reservations to surprise my DH with the WL Sleigh Ride for our 36th wedding anniversary on Dec. 26! Five weeks from today!! We'll eat at Teppenyaki at 4:30 (don't sleep well eating late!) and take the ride at 8pm and maybe catch Wishes from the Lodge!

When I called CRO, they didn't know anything about it, even calling the Lodge for info. Then I called WDW-PLAY and got it all set up. The lady I spoke with said this is the first year for it. Fun to look forward to a first!

Also, MAJESTIC---I found something yesterday, special to me, to put in the memories box. Will post and be specific after the fact!!

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I was hiking in the wood just behind the marina at the Lodge. My arm lightly brushed a log with some mold on it. My arm felt like it was on fire. For days later I had hives where the log had touched me. Even now I still have marks. I believe I had an allergic reaction to the mold or something.
Just as a minor warning, anyone with mold allergies be careful in the woods. ::yes:: It didn't ruin my vacation, but made it a bit more painful!::MickeyMo

PD to everyone going to the Lodge!! Have the best time. Have fun swimming with the ducks and look for the Otter in the pond. I wish I was going back.

If you go to Freds memory box, let me know if my postcard of the Twin Towers, NYC & pin is still there.. Just curious.

:sunny: :wave2:

Marge,

Did you read my report from the week-end? I posted on the Memory Box Thread.
