Lightsaber and Droid build questions

I know you need to make a reservation for either of these and I am aware of the pricing. But can someone help me with a couple of follow up questions?
1) Do you need to arrive early, and how long does the actual build take? How much effort for the droid in particular?
2) How much does it cost to ship them home rather than have to carry back on the plane?
3) Can these be delivered to our rooms If we decide not to ship?

1. Never built a droid, but for the light sabers you don’t need to arrive any more than 15 minutes before your appt time. They’ll take your name and you’ll wait to check in. They’ll show you options, you’ll choose and pay. Then you’ll wait until it’s your groups turn to enter Savi’s. The actual build takes about 15-20 minutes.
2. Shipping cost about $20 (I think the last one I shipped was $18.)
3. They will not deliver them to the front of the park or to your hotel room.

The hardest part of building the droid is finding the shape/colors you want on the conveyer belt. That part took me a while. It can also take a while to wait for a table to open after you get your parts. It shouldn't take too long since the actual build/activation goes by pretty quickly.

We built two droids in late August, expect to wait in a line to pay then wait in a line to build the droid once you get your parts. Took way longer than it should have, they seemed to book way more people than they could handle. Wasn't a great experience. You don't need to be there early, but if you have something planned for after be aware of the time it could take to complete the build.
