Lights! Motor! Asian?--Feb 2010 Part II. 11/6-Pix, part 2. Page 199.

I have a great video from a cruise we went on back in 2004. We were in Cozumel at Fat Tuesdays. After a few hours, people started dancing on tables and it was starting to get nuts. There was a guy, he must of been 45ish, pole dancing in his tighty whiteys. No shirt. No shoes. Just the tighties. Then he pulls up our waitress from the ship and starts grinding her. After that went on for a while she decides she has enough and she happens to walk by us as she leaves. Needless to say she couldn't even look at us on the ship. :lmao::lmao:

It really is a classic piece of tape. ::yes::

here's a pole dancer..
pole_dancer.jpg

:eek::eek::eek:

With all this talk of pole dancing and Winker's TR, I have an urge to do that when I go to WDW now....But I'm afraid my DBF might break up with me then and there :rolleyes1

Thanks everyone for the anniversary wishes. Still haven't researched the old Jordan photos yet.
Happy 12th anniversary for you and Wendy! My parents haven't gotten a romantic anniversary get-away in a couple of years.... But my siblings and I have been saving up to send them on a 14-day cruise for their 25th anniversary in a couple of years!
Wow, I agree, that's a really nice gift...I hope Erin, Dylan and Ashlyn remember us for our 25th, but they'll just be 20, 17, 14 yrs old then so I guess a European cruise won't be in the cards....maybe a nice McDonald dinner if we're lucky:rotfl:
Happy anniversary and enjoy dinner!
Dinner was nice, we don't get to go to PF Changs very often (do they have it outside of CA?) It's a very west coast PanAsian dinner place. Wendy and I used to go to PF Changs in our DINKs hey days.:cutie:
Take a digi picture of the pictures. ;) Might not turn out GREAT, but they'd still be on the computer. ;)
Yup, that was my backup plan...now I just need to find those pesky photos. But hopefully, Wendy has them in one of her many scrapbooks.:3dglasses
Happy Anniversary to you and Wendy! DH and I actually get a weekend to ourselves for our anniversary in July. :D I can't wait. We're going to stay in a hotel 45 minutes from home...maybe head up into Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park. Keegan gets to spend the weekend with Mimi (my mom).
Sounds like you've got your plans covered for July. We're postponing our "romantic" get-away until June when the next Family Life marriage conference is in town:cloud9:

:rotfl: Gang bangers!! To funny! Yaaaaay :yay: for pre-school!! That will help Mama take a load off for a few hours a couple days a week. You'll probably fill it with exciting things like cleaning and grocery shopping, but at least you'll be able to do it without the kiddos for a couple of hours, isn't it amazing what you can get done without having to load the kids in the van/car and unload them to get into and out of a place. Even without strollers!  Don't get me wrong, I love my kids, but as with any person you spend day in and day out with, they drive ya nuts at times!! All in good time these things will work themselves out.
As for your boy being in special-ed for a few years....I had some friends in highschool who had been in special-ed for most of their school career, had they not told me I would have never known, some of the most outstanding and amazing people I've ever had the privilege to know. So don't stress it, (easy to say I know) and know that no matter what your boy will come out in the end pretty amazing.
I mean really, look how perfectly normal it is to be chasing around your older sister beating the carp out of her?!? :lmao: Ya know? :goodvibes

By the way, I've started reading your report. :goodvibes Cute family!!

Hey Mama, been waiting to see if you were gonna come on this weekend. I've missed our late night chats. I've been having a tough day with Mackenzie dear, she's in hot water with this Mama, and I'm about to cut her off from going to the Disney trip if she keeps it up. I know I'm mad at her right now, so I'm probably talking non-sense, but that's how mad she has me....I need someone to talk me down out of this tree.

Sorry Camille. Hope tomorrow is a better day!

Have I been reading this right? Some of you never heard of Butt crack of dawn? Down't any of you have warped sense of humors like Me? LOL! I thought that was a globel saying.

I hear it here quite often. I think it is said by people who are not "morning people" with much disdain for such an early hour - and not really recognized by those "morning people" who are so cheerful they don't notice the "buttcrack of dawn!" :lmao: Guess which one I am?

Honestly, and this is not without feeling I promise.....it will make him strong enough to deal with the world, while dealing with the crap this fallen world has thrown his way physically. It's as hard as that and as simple as that.

For ever ugly word they give him, you tell him his true identity, he is an amazing creation made by someone who doesn't make junk! And that Creator and the people that love him are the only one's that matter on what's thought about him!
Point blank! And don't let it be any other way.
This is what I've had to do with my son when we moved to a new school years and years ago, he would get in the van from school and break down in tears for the things that he was made fun of, and believe it or not a t-shirt that was from Disney was one of them. :confused3
It would break my heart on the inside, but on the outside I was strong and told him who he really was. He's an amazing creation made by God, and his life is to be lived to an audience of one, not those jerks!
"I don't care what those jerks said. What does God think of you son? (wait for the answers and fill in if he would forget) What does Jesus say you are son? (wait for the answers and fill in where he would miss some) And what does mom and dad, and the friends you love think of you honey?" And he would before to long start to smile (as he would go through the lists) and then let it all go. He spoke the truth, he spoke truth/life over the lies of the enemy and that's what kills the ugly words...truth/life! Works every time, I promise. :thumbsup2

Now! He's a beautiful, brilliant, outstanding 17 yr. old young man, full of knowing who he is his and his Creator, and full of God's and his families love. (deeeep breath!) He doesn't give a carp what others think of him, he loves who he is and does not allow others to dictate who they think he needs to be, even Mama. <slapping my head-Teach them in which way they should go not which way Mama thinks he should go> Duh! And even if I have something snarky to say to him, he tells me...."Way to speak into my treasure, mom!"  All children are treasure, and we can speak into that treasure with words that affirm who they are! :yay:

Well said Camille!

Actually, they're more recent (but some of our older WDW trips) but I have to see if we have any in digital format (our HP all-in-one scanner won't play nice with our mac so we're without scanning capabilities).:headache:

Yeah, they're fairly humorous (in my memories). I just hope we still have the evidence.

We're off to return to church (for our Saturday contemporary service) and then off to PF Changs for a family dinner to celebrate our 12th anniversary. Wendy and I didn't get our romantic get-away without the kids unfortunately.:confused3

Happy Anniversary Wendy and Derek! I see you are doing the Family Life Conference - good for you!

What a wonderful gift! Can I adopt you? It's our 30th this year :rotfl2:

Haha, a McDees dinner doesn't sound bad. In fact, when I was 13, that's exactly what I gave my parents for their anniversary! Then after that, we started the tradition of buying them dinner at a nice restaurant every year. But for their 25th, we wanted to do something special for them.

My mom works so hard all day (she owns a video rental/video store), and my dad's having a little trouble with employment, we just wanted to give them something they deserve :thumbsup2

What a wonderful gift! Can I adopt you? It's our 30th this year :rotfl2:

Haha, right now I'm not up for adoption yet. But I'll keep you updated ;) Happy 30th! :cheer2:

Yuki, this is about the sweetest thing I've heard someone do for their parents. Your such a good daughter.

Evening all !! I am home and on semi vaction for a week !!:thumbsup2What I am doing is watching Kyle during the day and then going in around supper time !! Wait a minute that's not vacation!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I wanted to comment on the crueklty of kids !! While it's true we need to remember 2 things
1. They are kids
2 They learned it from someone close to them !!!:sad2:

In my field I often hear cruel things said to the people we serve !! But to counteratc that I more often hear positive things about both them and the staff who care for them !!

In school I was the "CHAMPION"of the disabled and to be honest I beat the living carp outta many a kid who picked on them !!!:rotfl2: I firmly believe that The Lord gives special gifts to the disabled that if you take the time to see you will be blessed many times over !!! Okay off my soapbox !! :yay:

I'm right there with you Rosie!! :thumbsup2 I love being able to see others through eyes of love, and that's what it takes to see the beauty that's around us.

I must be getting tired... I can't type tonight.

It shouldda said 'If only Jordan could see this' UGH.. I should probably get some sleep soon. (famous DIS last words :lmao:)

Your liiiiiiight still oooon Tim. <said in a nice sing songy voice> :goodvibes Your so busted!

Awww, thanks so much! I don't think I deserve all this praise. It's just my way to thank my parents for all they've done for me.

Sorry Camille. Hope tomorrow is a better day!

Finally I make it over here!

So let me catch up with comments

Chapter 22

I was amazed by how close you can get to people you meet on this DIS! I met 3 DISers on my last trip and felt like I had known them for forever!

I like the look of DTD in Disneyland I really hope to make it over to DL someday

The spinach dip looks good!

Chapter 23

Awesome pic of you sleeping :thumbsup2

Those are amazing pictures of the sunrise at BLT I think BLT would have to be my favorite DVC hotel just from all of the good things about it on the DIS!

Dylan looks very excited after his trip on TT :lmao:

Tongue pic from Dylan!!!:thumbsup2

A look back at the tongue

I am glad to know the story behind it now! I knew it was your trademark but I didn't know the entire story behind it:)

I'm with you, sister, I found 10 pages last night, so 11 is on pace and we'll get to 250 in no time flat!

Only eight pages this morning -- must be a slow weekend! :lmao:

We're off to return to church (for our Saturday contemporary service) and then off to PF Changs for a family dinner to celebrate our 12th anniversary. Wendy and I didn't get our romantic get-away without the kids unfortunately.:confused3

Happy Anniversary, Wendy and Derek!!!

Jackie,

The tongue pix have been an old stand by...apparently for a very, very, long time.

Yes, they are one of my favorite parts of your trip reports! :rotfl:

:faint: 10 pages of tongue talk? I cannot not possibly keep up. :rotfl2: Happy Sunday.

Off to take the kids, with our synagogue, to the Anne Frank exhibit today. We observed Yom Ha Shoah last night *Holocaust Remembrance Day or Day of Remembrance* and it was amazingly moving and sad.

Dinner was nice, we don't get to go to PF Changs very often (do they have it outside of CA?) It's a very west coast PanAsian dinner place. Wendy and I used to go to PF Changs in our DINKs hey days.:cutie:

We have one in NC.

It always feel like I have won the race when i finally catch up. Then i'm off to catching up on others trip reports and i look and lo and behold more on this one.:surfweb:
