I'm behind AGAIN!!!!! :sad2:

1st off....

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO DEREK & WENDY!!!!!!

Love the tongue update to catch everyone up on the "history of the tongue".

Our family has also become addicted to the tongue pictures. It all started for me after reading your first PTR. For example, here is my very first tongue/Dis picture.
I was having a camera bag dilema....

There are many more, as the tongue pictures have spread over into my home life as well. I just don't have those on the computer right now. The tongue pic is sooo addicting that even my DH is starting to do it! :rolleyes1 There are some photopass pics I got back and noticed! :rotfl2:

Blue, I love your collage of tongue pics. I think my favorite is still the one in front of the China Bowl in MGM. :rotfl:
We need to have a big group pic there for Peepfest...one with us all with our tongues out of course! We can't forget our orchestrated fight scene too!! :thumbsup2

Funny that you should mention "Peeps on the Pier," I just happened to have some recent photos of some folks you may (and may not) recognize. These are some photos of my best man, Josh, his wife Joanne, and their daughter, Jordan (yes, I think they thought of a certain person when researching "J" names). Oh, and one of the "J's" is an infamous poofer that even puts Jordan to shame...but I won't say which "J" to protect the guilty.:confused3

Great pier pics Derek! Thanks so much for sharing - it did make me miss the west coast though -haven't been out that way for 5 years!:sad1:

Happy Anniversary Wendy and Derek! I see you are doing the Family Life Conference - good for you!
Yeah, we've attended FL conferences in the past and used to promote it as coordinators at my former church. Looking forward to the great speakers and we already have plans for a weekend away from the kids at the Westin Pasadena hotel.
Haha, a McDees dinner doesn't sound bad. In fact, when I was 13, that's exactly what I gave my parents for their anniversary! Then after that, we started the tradition of buying them dinner at a nice restaurant every year. But for their 25th, we wanted to do something special for them.

My mom works so hard all day (she owns a video rental/video store), and my dad's having a little trouble with employment, we just wanted to give them something they deserve :thumbsup2
You are such a thoughtful daughter and even at a young age...I promise not to hold Erin, Dylan and Ashlyn to an expectation for Mickey Dees, although if they started saving there money now, we might be able to get a 20 piece chicken nuggets!:rotfl:
Happy Anniversary!! 12 years?!? Wow! That's great!! I still can't believe it's been 18 for John and I. :woohoo: Purely by the grace of God of course. :rolleyes1Ditto on the grace of God....I can't believe how fast 12 years have gone by....and how fast the next 12 will go by too.

Yuki, this is about the sweetest thing I've heard someone do for their parents. Your such a good daughter.
Ditto on the good daughter comment (see above)! :thumbsup2
We have one here in Austin! :goodvibes
We have one in NC.
It's good to know that PF Changs isn't just a left coast thing whereas, I'm still waiting for Culvers to move out west of Phoenix:mad: That place has the best hamburgers bar none.
Only eight pages this morning -- must be a slow weekend! :lmao:
Happy Anniversary, Wendy and Derek!!!
I'm behind AGAIN!!!!! :sad2:
1st off....HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO DEREK & WENDY!!!!!!
Thanks for the anniversary wishes! It was a slow weekend and Cherie, I love the tongue tributes!
30 More Days!!! I have 30 More Days!!!
So excited for your trip....we'll be living vicariously through your exploits!
Great pier pics Derek! Thanks so much for sharing - it did make me miss the west coast though -haven't been out that way for 5 years!:sad1:
Thanks for the comps on the pier pics. We sometimes forget how beautiful SoCal can be. I used to take for granted that I grew up in a house that had sunset views over the Pacific ocean in my parents' old house.

:hyper2::crazy2::crazy2::scared1::scared1::crazy2:
Wow Derek, that's some picture!
Thanks. Got creative using Photobooth on the Mac (web camera). Still getting the hang of the backdrop thing. Had to step out of the frame and then get back in without distorting the background (while also concentrating on good tongue action). That's why I prefer to be behind the camera rather than in front of it.:lmao:Here's another with a double image of my little Dylan ninja.

I have a great video from a cruise we went on back in 2004. We were in Cozumel at Fat Tuesdays. After a few hours, people started dancing on tables and it was starting to get nuts. There was a guy, he must of been 45ish, pole dancing in his tighty whiteys. No shirt. No shoes. Just the tighties. Then he pulls up our waitress from the ship and starts grinding her. After that went on for a while she decides she has enough and she happens to walk by us as she leaves. Needless to say she couldn't even look at us on the ship. :lmao::lmao:

It really is a classic piece of tape. ::yes::

Video post?

That is too funny.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Links are good..especially sausage links...;)

We are headed back to Scottsdale in August...

A DTD meet could be arranged:thumbsup2
**sigh**
First you make me think about Santa Monica - now you mention Scottsdale! Oak Creek Canyon - I miss you! I am SO not meant to live in New England......

Finally I make it over here!

So let me catch up with comments

Chapter 22

I was amazed by how close you can get to people you meet on this DIS! I met 3 DISers on my last trip and felt like I had known them for forever!

I like the look of DTD in Disneyland I really hope to make it over to DL someday

The spinach dip looks good!

Chapter 23

Awesome pic of you sleeping :thumbsup2

Those are amazing pictures of the sunrise at BLT I think BLT would have to be my favorite DVC hotel just from all of the good things about it on the DIS!

Dylan looks very excited after his trip on TT :lmao:

Tongue pic from Dylan!!!:thumbsup2

A look back at the tongue

I am glad to know the story behind it now! I knew it was your trademark but I didn't know the entire story behind it:)

I like DTD at DL because it sits between Disneyland and California Adventure. The 3 Disney Resorts are pretty much right next to DTD so it's a good compact version of WDW.

The Spinach Dip was good.

It's weird, but I do feel very close to many DISers I haven't even met yet....it was meant to be.

There are many things to like about BLT, but it's hard to be away from either the BWVs or BCVs. That really feels like home. (although in my book, Pop runs a close 2nd)

Mr Tongue has a life of it's own....sometimes in pics I don't even really know that I did it.

**sigh**
First you make me think about Santa Monica - now you mention Scottsdale! Oak Creek Canyon - I miss you! I am SO not meant to live in New England......

My relatives had a cabin up in Oak Creek....my brothers used to go to someplace with a slide rock...
