Lightning lane question.

Can you book a lightning lane on the day you are arriving. If you are staying at a Disney Resort can you book a lightening lane at 7 that morning from your home airport before you fly to Disney that day?

Yes, and keep booking every 2 hours ( after park opening time) to get stacked rides for the afternoon. Of course, you need to have a park reservation for that day.

Would they need to be checked into hotel first (mobile checkin) before they purchase? Or is hotel reservation enough to qualify them for 7 AM slot?

Reservation should be enough if it’s check in day.

Yes, you will see accounts of folks doing this all the time here. Booking from the airport before boarding etc… on check in day. We were already checked in online on the app but got to hotel by 1 and dropped bags (room was not ready).

The hardest part for us was getting a late enough time to showup for Test Track before we had to take off without internet connection to MDE. So we could actually be at the park, luckily those went fairly fast over Thanksgiving week.
