Several have asked about LLMP with tickets to the after hours event so I thought I would share my experience.

I had a 4 day ticket without park hoppers. I visited Animal Kingdom during the day. Once I was finished at AK, I tried to make a LL at Magic Kingdom since I had a party ticket. I was not able to make a LL. At 7pm, I entered the MK for the after hours event. Once I entered the MK, I was able to make LL’s until the park closed. I was also able to join the queue for Tiana which was surprisingly still open! I pulled about 7 LL’s from 7-10pm.

The after hours event was fantastic. Waits for Tron and Seven Dwarfs were about 20 minutes. All others were walk on! We were at the event on President’s Day so the parks were very busy and the event was sold out!

Hope this is helpful to others!

Curious what rides the 7 LL you could get at MK after 7:00 were?

Even though the parks were very busy this week, we were very successful in obtaining LL. I did buy LLMP each day and all LLSP’s.

So you didnt buy LLMP at all for Animal Kingdom?

No.

OP said they were able to use their LLMP from the time they were allowed to enter the park (7PM) until the park closed to day guests at 10PM. After that, LLMP was not able to be used during the AH event hours.
Is it correct you can only buy LLMP for 1 park per day even if you have Park hopper? Same will
LLSP ....only 2 selections even if you park hop? thanks

Yes only 1 LLMP purchase per day but you can use it to continue to make LLMP selections for additional parks the same day when you have the Park Hopper option. Once you tap in to your first LLMP attraction at park 1 then you can make replacement selections at any park, and also any Tier restrictions are remove.

Yes a max of 2 LLSP per day and no duplicate selections.

Does that make sense?

Are you saying if we start our day out at AK and purchase LLMP then park hop to MK later we can continue to use LLMP? We don't purchase it again...we just make new selections? And if we buy LLSP buy one
for each park or buy two for same park but 2 is the maximum.

Do i have it down I hope?

Yes that is 100% correct. And to make it a little more complicated you can even "Modify' your second and third LLMP per-selections from AK to MK.

We have not found that a LLMP selection is required at AK if you get there at park open or take advantage the 30 Minute Early Entry for on-site guests. Personally I would book your 3 initial LLMP selections for MK and just hit AK early. Some times it is hard to get good return times in MK on day vs the 7 day advanced purchase for on-site guests or 3 day for all other guests.

A note on LLSP, only MK has more than 1 LLSP at this time, Tron & 7DMine train.

So the reason the OP was not able to make LL at MK before 7 is because he was not physically in the park?
His ticket started at 7 (and i assume he could not park hop before). So when we are AK do we physically have to be in MK(scanned in) before we make our selections for later that day? * oh and don't want to do early entry because we wont be arriving to hotel until 130am so will suck it up and pay Lol.*

** I was ready to just buy premier for my kids because it is confusing but you have broken it down
nicely. Thank you!!!*

Yes, @woody5 had a specific situation. They did not have a park hopper but a base 4 day ticket. They would have been able to make additional LLMP selections for MK but their ticket was not active until the actually entered MK on their After Hours ticket at 7 PM.

Nope once you enter AK and tap into your first LLMP attraction you are able to make replacement selections at AK or MK in your example. You don't need to wait until you enter MK. And as I mentioned above, if you find that you don't need your 2nd and 3rd LLMP selections in AK due to low Standby waits, you can even modify them to MK once you tap into your first AK LLMP attraction.

When is your visit as crowds are the key to how successful any plan is?

This M-Fri. It was a very spur of the moment trip as we were flying to a wedding in Miami this weekend.
Taking the train late Sunday night to Orlando. Will be staying DVC M-Fri. Inlaws bought kids MK AH tickets
for Monday and Epcot AH tickets for Thursday. Planned AK Monday because it seems easiest when you are
sleeping in. That's it nothing else has been planned for any other day.

So if you have any itinerary suggestions please feel free to give them to me. Kid's ages 15-18. Out of state
Ap's so we can only reserve 3 days advance which being in West Coast is coming up soon? *Usually Grandparents take them but pulled out last minute for health reasons.*

Thank you so much!

If you are staying DVC then you can reserve 7 days in advance, yes even with APs. And you also qualify the free EEH at MK next Wednesday until 12 AM since DVC guests qualify as Deluxe resort guests. Also you will need to make Park Reservations for each park day that you plan to enter before 2 PM.

Next week should be manageable crowds since it has slowed down before the attendance spikes up for Mardi Gras (3/4) week and the Spring Break cycles.

So question, is it possible to purchase LLMP for park you are planning to visit in the afternoon but go to a different park in the morning? Providing you would have Park Hopper or Annual Pass.

My understanding is yes, but you have to physically tap into that first LL in order to open the tiers to get any additional Tier 1 LL. So it depends on what is important to you.
