I am so excited about your new stroller! When I read that you bought one, I started clapping, and Everett clapped along too. He was also happy for his fellow Disney baby buddies!
I really think that every mom deserves a good stroller, since it is such an integral part of our lives. Its going to be wonderful for Disney and wonderful for home! I bet you are soon going to wonder how you ever lived without it!
I feel like such a stroller enabler
Clapping babies are the cutest. I'm really excited about the new stroller, too. Nearly all of my excursions today have been stroller places. Just to try it out. It drives great.
A good stroller does help out quite a bit. Especially with the two of them, it's going to be really handy to have. I think I'm even more eager for Disney World now that I have the perfect stroller.
You are a stroller enabler- your comment started it all.
I want one!!!!

baby gear is highly addictive.
It sure is! They have some really clever devices out there for babies.
Coming out of lurkdom to say that you made a great purchase. We rented that stroller last year for our kids, who were 4 & 6 and it was absolutely wonderful!! I wish we would have known about OSR for previous trips instead of using Disney's strollers. There did seem to be quite a few of those orange strollers, so you might want to use something on the stroller to make it easier to find yours if you have to park it for a ride.
Thanks for posting!! I really hope the stroller turns out to be a great purchase. So far, so great. That's a good idea, to mark the stroller with something. It should probably be something really weird, too. The year we had the giant sombreros, it was always obvious where our stroller was.
I don't know why you wouldn't give Landon and Carter Beverly from Club Cool. Maybe you're just not as cruel of a parent as I am. Our Landon always wants to try to eat whatever grown up food we're eating. I'll give him things I'm sure he won't like just to see his reaction (yeah, a little cruel, but sometimes funny

). I started doing it partly to show him that he doesn't need to eat everything we eat. It actually turns out that he likes several things that I wouldn't have expected.
Apparently puffs dipped in salsa is a delicious dessert to a 15 month old.
Awesome picture of you guys in front of Spaceship Earth.
I'm glad you found the answer to your stroller dilemma. It is definitely a good investment with all of your planned trips to WDW, and especially if you will be using it around home too.
You know, with most things, I try not to give it to them, just to watch the funny face. Carter occasionally will ask to try lettuce, which obviously he can't chew, and he has to spit it out. There was only one time when I intentionally gave one of the boys something I thought they wouldn't like, just to watch his reaction.
It was Landon and he was very restless waiting for his food at a restaurant and there was a lemon from someone's water and I put it in his hand, knowing he'd taste it. Unfortunately, the plan backfired and he loved the lemon.
He eats them regularly, but when I slip him a bit of orange, he thinks I'm trying to poison him and makes the horrible face I had expected with the lemon. Puffs dipped in salsa- Landon's trying that next time we're at the Mexican restaurant.
Thanks! It was cold that night, but still fun.
I'm hoping the stroller is a good investment. It seems like it makes sense to have one, with two kids that young and many Disney trip plans. Hopefully, it will last a long time.
Love the new stroller. If I were to get a new stroller I would get the city mini but my Phil and Teds will have to work since I spent a lot of money on that

and DH would kill me if I suggested a new stroller.

I know what you mean. This stroller was so expensive that I plan on not buying another one, hopefully ever. I've heard Phil and Ted's are nice, though, so if you are going to be stuck with one, that's probably not too bad.
How exciting that you got a new stroller! What a wonderful husband! I hope you love it. I always thought it was super easy to fold and open, decent storage, easy to recline, and really big sunshades! Never found a door I couldn't fit through at Disney. The tricky part was holding the door open (hotel room) and trying to push it through at the same time, but we are Mom's, we excel at multitasking! You will definately get your money's worth at Disney alone, especially with those AP's!

Mine were still in one on our January trip, and they are 7 and 4 years old.
Your boys are so sweet! I hope they get along this well as they get older, unlike mine.

It probably helps having them so close in age!
You are a great storyteller!
I sure love it so far! It's so much easier than any other stroller I've had. I love how the seats recline so far. And Landon and Carter love to be reclined and looking up at me through the mesh netting in the back. And those sunshades are wonderful! There won't be any sunlight getting to them. That will be great for Disney naps.
I've been really pleased with the width of the stroller, too. It fits through places I wouldn't expect it to. I can even steer it one handed, so opening the door isn't too hard. I don't know how long my boys will need a stroller at Disney, but hopefully they will be able to walk by the time they reach the 100lb limit.
I do think it helps having the boys so close in age. In some ways, it's harder for me, but I think it's easier for them. Carter will never remember Landon coming and taking all the attention. And they already have very similar interests and senses of humor. If I could just get Landon to stop pulling Carter's hair...
Thank you! I love a good story.
Glad Landon will be wearing shoes in that Dig Site! You're being a good mom not raising him to be a rule breaker because we all know just how much trouble a baby with no shoes can get into at Disney! Phew!
I love the "never-before-seen-by" toys. It's so easy to do that nowadays with inexpensive goodies from the $1 Spot at Target and such. When I shop, I look at everything and think, "This would be perfect for a Disney vacation with the kids!" Of course, I don't have kids yet. And technically, I don't have a husband yet. Haha, but still, it gets me excited.
Haha, my younger brother and I sneeze EVERY TIME we walk into the sun, just like Landon and Carter do! People think it's weird. When I used to dismiss my class last year (and my brother was in my homeroom), we'd walk out the doors and sneeze in succession. Once we even sneezed at the same time. I was like, "It's the sun; we always sneeze when we walk into the sun," but most people think it's strange and have never heard of it before. When I need to get a sneeze out, I kind of look in the direction of the sun too.
I didn't know strollers had years! That's an amazingly awesome stroll. How cute that they can be side by side and look at the same animals and such together!
Landon always seemed to breaking rules last trip.

You wouldn't think a little baby could get into so much trouble at Disney World. Next time, he'll wear his shoes and he'll remain seated during all the rides.
I always get the boys an assortment of new toys before a road trip, from the dollar section at Target and the Dollar Store and Party City. It's always funny to see which ones they really love and which ones are duds. And it's never too soon to plan ahead.
The sunlight sneezing runs in my family, so while I don't have it, it doesn't seem too weird. It was kind of funny at first, just because baby sneezes are like that, but I'm used to them sneezing now. Sometimes, I wish light made me sneeze, since it would be kind of convenient, for those times when I almost have to sneeze, but not quite.
I didn't know stroller had years, either, but I'm glad they do. I don't mind driving last year's model at all. The boys do prefer to be side-by-side, so they can play with each other. And when they are side-by-side, no one can pull hair.
Congrats on the stroller. It is amazing the different types, sizes, prices of strollers since our 25 and 23 year old were little boys (although back then, we rented ours from Disney and it didn't cost anything or was very little).
Thanks, Kathy. It is amazing all the different sorts of strollers out there. It's hard to pick one, but I think I've got a good one this time. I can't imagine Disney not charging a bunch for their strollers. That must have been nice.
