I like them a lot cynthia !!!
Thanks Rosie but those are Amanda's shoes, not the ones I ordered
They are cute though.
I'm all caught up! I had a few comments, let's see if I remember them all.
So awesome that you are staying at PP for a couple of days! We stayed there for an anniversary trip one year & they upgraded us to a park view. It was so fun to get up early & see what is going on in DCA before they let any guests in. And the view at night.....

I had a hard time walking away from the window. I am still bummed that our trips are going to miss each other by a week. It would have been fun to meet!! We are going to take Dylan to the same character breakfast. I am super excited about that.
Your interview day was intense!! I tried to picture myself going through that & I almost threw up. Literally, it made my stomach hurt. Did you say your follow up interview was yesterday? Or next week? I can't remember, but I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Congrats for getting this far. Most people would have crumbled by now.
A park view would be lovely! With the food and wine I can't imagine we'd get upgraded but either way it will be fun. I'm really bummed too, that would have been so much fun. You need to post pics of Dylan at the breakfast, I know your TR is done but you could post some on mine

He's SOOO cute!
Where are you guys staying on your trip?
Thanks on the interview. It was intense but in a good way. The next round was supposed to be Friday with HR but she was on vacation all of last week and was sick on her vacation so didn't end up going in on Friday so we've rescheduled for Tuesday. A bummer to wait but if I'd have had it on Friday and didn't get the offer (or not) the same day it would have made for a LONG weekend with it weighing on my mind and this way I was able to have a really nice date night with my husband and not think or talk about it (too much). So it's all good but I'll be really glad to get through Tuesday and then move on one way or another.
Okay lots of fun stuff to catch up on! I had a busy week so trying to get on to the DIS was really challenging for me! I am excited for your two night's stay in Disney Land! How fun! I will look for your TR on this one because I have to know what it is all about before we go!
Shopping -- expecting to get one thing and buying all sorts of items which you were not expecting to buy. Yeah, who hasn't been there??!!

I bought some sandals from endless shoes, they have some great sandal collections. Also, perhaps they seem very "teen" but J Crew sells great seasonal shorts. 5 7 and 9 inch inseam, traditional basic colored cotton chino shorts... They are maybe a little more expensive, but they always fit. They also have different rises.
Those are my shoping tips and as far as the job possibility, I am really counting on some good luck for you -- but it is as you say it is, if it was meant to be, it will happen.
Enjoying all the great updates and chit chat!
I see you have an official GC ticker, very cool! I knew you were thinking about it but hadn't realized you'd booked. I will stay there one of these days. We may do the DVC tour while we are there, we will see.
I will check out JCrew, that's a really good idea. Historically there stuff hasn't fit me well but its been eons since I really tried as there isn't one close by. I've never looked there for shorts though! I did get some great things there last Christmas for Jeff and Paul though, and it didn't seem teen at all in there to me. I've never heard of endless shoes, need to check that out as well.
I don't mind paying a little more if they fit right and have nothing against teen stores actually. Well some of them.

It's sad but for a basic long sleeve underlayer type tee and tanks nothing is as soft as the ones from Hollister, Abercrombie or Urban Outfitters as well as getting the length and cuts right, I just have to find them without all the writing on them! It annoys me that there isn't an adult store that carries basics like that that aren't either ridiculously expensive for a basic tee, or frumpy cuts. I actually peeked at AF and Hollister but it's all bermudas and bootie shorts this year, (and mostly bootie) no thanks. Evan lucked out by my peeking as at the kids AF store they had a huge jeans sale so he is in heaven.
My favorite shorts are Abercrombie and about 3 years old, I have 2 of them in different colors but they are linen so stretch if I put anything in the pockets. Not so great for touring if they fall off!
Jeff hates them, they are pretty beat up.
The pair I've ordered so far don't really address the issue at all as they are 15" inseam bermuda's which I do need a pair of but isn't what I want for the hot August trip! I've got a 5" in my cart at Athleta that gets good reviews and seems perfect for short waistedness but am waiting to to see what I think of the shorts and dress I already ordered before getting anything else.
Off to check out JCrew!
Morning! Well, actually it's afternoon... HA! for the first time in about 4 months I slept until 11:OO!!! It was full-on glorious!
Poor DH is going to unclog our sewer line--------- yet again.
Yay for sleep. Nothing better in the world than a solid night.

for your sewer line. I swear, it needs a chronicle of its own!
