It was fun. Once I got my arms around HOW I wanted to do it, it flowed pretty quickly from there! I kept struggling with what I wanted on the puzzles.

Everything is just stunning, Cynthia!!! I love it all!!! I want to come on the trip and put together puzzles on the plane and do word searches!!!

LOL. No. Not really. Diamond provided me with some links to sites where you can make your own word searches and then I found a few more on my own so supplement them. I just printed them as pdf's, cropped out all the web addresses and junk at the top and bottom of the pages and then inserted them into my doc to make them pretty!

I like the first one as it actually spells out the entire plan if you read it like a sentence/paragraph once it's solved.

Well, then I'm glad I finally made my way over!

Chuck left for his deployment a few weeks ago. He'll be gone until sometime this summer. Homeschooling is going well. Thanks for asking.

I used the links below from Diamondintheruff and then dug around from there! I had to google to find a free crossword one, others wanted to limit how many words etc but it was out there!

I like the last one because you can insert a secret message into the word search. After all the words have been found you are left with your secret message which could be "We are going to Disney right now" or something like that.

Wow! That looks awesome. The boys will be so excited.

I think they will enjoy it though at times while I was making it, it reminded me of the kids menu's at a few of the restaurants we go to!



I added in all the fun facts, though they are more educational than "fun" per-se, back and front cover and then a dining page with pictures.

As my kids finish up Gone with the Wind, (I picked a loooooooooong one purpose) I can catch up on all these threads I'm soooooooo far behind on.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? The E's are going to be blown away for sure!! I wish I could be a sky marshall on the plane and see them be stunned (don't take that literally) by the big reveal!

I didn't realize you were going to do the Q. Mary too! Fun. Last time we were in Long Beach, we just didn't want to pony up the $20 per person to go on it. Too expensive! We just went for a walk instead and ended up doing the Mission at San Juan Cap instead.
