Life’s too short...to never sleep in a treehouse! 8/27 TR is up! Link in siggie

Have you read the book? She's even worse in it than the movie...plus she has children by her first and I think 2nd husbands, and totally ignores them.

The movie made her look like a saint compared to the book.

Sounds like an episode of "Real Housewives of.....":rotfl2:

noooooooooooo

Sounds like Jim - I'm sure he's never seen it, and he has refused to watch it with me the 30 times I've asked - once a year, I guess. :goodvibes How do you know you're not missing something great - It IS an epic, you know! :lmao:

No. I figure if Rhett doesn't give a darn, neither should I.

Mine too. I like Harvey Korman as Rhett Butler too.

More useless information: Bob Mackie (the same guy who designed Cher's outlandish dresses for the Sonny & Cher show) made that curtain dress for Carol.

All I could think of as she tore the curtain down was "The hills are alive with the sound of music..." Nice to know the nun Maria was taking her cue from cinemas greatest wench. :lmao:

Skimmed through and LOVE the reveal. What website are you using for the puzzle? I'd love to do one for my nephew.

Did you decide on a park bag for SoCal?

I'll be back after work to slowly read through. We have a National Dance Institute performance and will be running lines all afternoon for the Wizard of Oz. Love that movie, but trying to get 8 yr olds to "act" is not easy :headache:

Oh, I also wanted to ask you about your birthday cruise. Which Disney cruise are you doing? I'm trying to gather info for a cruise.

Love the pages for the BIG REVEAL (I saw your update, and wondered if you "told" ie revealed to them!!)

We didnt do pin trading this trip - and honestly I didnt notice a lot of people trading... did see quite a few lanyards - not as many as before - but it could be because it was so darn cold!! :rotfl2:

I do like pin trading because it gets dd to interact with the CM's she can be mighty shy!

:lmao: I never even thought about that! I guess to be a great movie, it has to include clothes made from curtains.

I guess I need to duct tape you to a chair.....
I think you should watch it!

You know, I have NO idea if Jeff's ever seen it but knowing Sandie I'm sure he was subjected at some point.

Sounds like an episode of "Real Housewives of.....":rotfl2:

I can just see Scarlett on the Bachelor, she was made for reality TV no doubt!

Sorry - I don't know why I didn't multi-quote. Love the activity books!:thumbsup2

Thanks Tammie!

I did the puzzle in Illustrator...I'd be happy to make you one, just PM me :)

I have not decided on a park bag for Cali, I've done a lot of online looking at clothes, shoes and a little bit on bags but have been good. So far. That could change after our tax return though.

Right now I'm leaning towards one of my current purses as well, a purse and perhaps a vera backsack if I can get the pattern I like at the right price on Ebay and the Kavu Keeper I already have. That said I decided it made more sense to figure out outifts and then go for a bag, if I really need another one.

Need. Yeah. Right! Saw some very cute stuff at Athleta but the sale prices weren't quite enough to tempt me. I needed a photopass calendar more since Santa didn't bring me a 2010 one!

:rotfl:

The plan for the cruise (well my plan, Jeff doesn't know yet) is for the Magic, Mexican Riviera, in Feb 2011 which is a 7 day cruise. My savings plan for it has been a little derailed/delayed due to some house repairs and a few other things but I'm fairly positive I'll be able to pull it off. I expect offers to come out this summer that will make it work but we will see!

Hi Sandy! I could definitely see cold as being a deterrent to pin trading! I just have no idea if it's as big an activity at DL/DCA or not. The boys love it.

A new awards category. Best Use of Fabric!
Although upon brief googling I couldn't find another movie that fit into this category.

Now that would a fun tangent to run with!! Best use of fabric, How many kids you can get to sing in trees, Best throwing of priceless heirloom ceramic piece, etc....

I know you're up and on. No updates??

Hopefully later today :) or tomorrow. It's been a crazy week, bogged down with a sinus infection, half days for the kids, various repair issues (plumbing, electrical, switching phone services), the constant job search, teacher conferences, school levy sign waving and PTA drama.

But.

I DID buy a DCA park bag....

and

a dress for my sisters wedding for me so it's good I didn't buy any clothes for the DCA trip yet :rotfl:

and

I

DID

make a rather major decision (life wise). Which has eaten up a lot of my time this week too!

:scared1:

I know I'd probably like it, but sometimes I'm just stubborn;)

It's important to draw the line somewhere I guess.

Hmmmmm........very intriguing.

That's one word for it!

I've never seen "Titanic" either, and proud of it.

Waiting to hear....popcorn::

You officially not King of the World then. I thought it was ok. Definitely not the be all end all the world seemed to think it was but it had some good moments and effects.

THAT I've seen.

Yeah and now it's stuck in my head!

ummm..... OK, now that you have everyone's attention... popcorn::
