Is it true that the only meal you can have the ooey gooey toffee cake is at lunch? We have a lunch booked in November but my TA think dinner is better.
Lunch & dinner here are like 2 different restaurants. At lunch you order off a menu. Dinner is a set meal served family-style; it is all you care to eat but there are no choices for the salad, entrees/sides, or dessert. The menu choices at lunch appeal to me far more than the food that is served at dinner, but that's a matter of personal preference. Families with hearty eaters may prefer the all-you-care-to-eat feature and families with small children sometimes appreciate the family-style aspect. Note that there are no characters at either meal.
Dinner is just okay - it used to be really good when there were characters but now that they are gone I just don't see myself going back - UNLESS it was for lunch. The lunch menu (especially the ooey gooey toffee cake!) sounds way better!! I would ask my TA if he/she has ever been there!
I agree, I don't want to be out in the midday Florida heat with a belly full of
Lead. I prefer to stagger out after the dinner and plop myself in a good location to watch the nighttime shows.
Dinner at LTT is a Thanksgiving meal with turkey, carved roast, and some kind of pork with potatoes, stuffing, and veggies. If that appeals to someone in your party, they can get almost the same meal (only turkey) at lunch time and then you can still enjoy the wonderful ooey gooey cake!
