Anybody know if the Dinner with Goofy is any good? How is the food? Got reservations on Spet 11 :rotfl:

Any reviews???

You may get more response if you move this over to the main restaurants board. If you can't find a review already listed here, or if you come up empty using the search function, then your post will probably get viewed more on the main board, and somebody may know.

the main restaurant board seems to get more 'traffic' (i.e. views).

If this helps you it is like a THanksgiving dinner. We liked it it is served family style and my older son now 12 still likes this one alot. We have even purchased the mugs for 5 dollars as a reminder for home they give you a new one packaged in a box for travel . We will be dining there again in September and will get 2 more mugs for them this trip .

We've eaten dinner at the Liberty Tree several times and we really enjoyed it. When we were there in June, 2007, the menu was turkey, ham, green beans, mashed potatos and gravy, mac and cheese, salad, rolls and cobbler ice cream. Our son who is 10 is super picky so I asked the waiter if there was any possiblity of getting fries for our son. He said "no problem" and there was no additional charge. We were on the dining plan but we tipped him extra.

The food is brought out on platters and in bowls and is served family style. You can ask that any item on the menu be replinished at any time during your meal.

We probably won't go back to the Liberty Tree next year because we want to try something new.

WE loved our dinner at the LTT. Will definitely make this one of our stops each time we visit! :)

Liberty Tree Tavern is our favorite MK restaraunt. When we went last may, it wasn't family style so don't know if that has changed, then again, it wasn't a character meal then either. In any case I got the pot roast and the wife and kids ended up with turkey, and everything was exceptional, including the service.

Were you there for lunch by any chance? The lunch there is neither a character meal, nor family style. It switches to a family style character meal for dinner.

My mum and I loved LTT when we went though.

No, we had dinner there memorial day weekend of 2006. No character, and no family style. We have ressies there this year again, but I wanted the pot roast again, I guess I could be out of luck?

Wow...that's very strange! :confused3 We've eaten there a few times for dinner (last time was this past June) & it's always been family style & with characters.

Yup Lunch there has the pot roast and many other good things no family style and no characters, that is why I usually book lunch there every trip.
