I just made my ADR's for our Jan. trip this morning. Our first full day we are having dinner at The Liberty Tree Tavern. Is this a character meal? I am reading reviews about people who "did the character meal" and those that "didn't do the character meal" Do I have to call back to request the character experience? I am hoping that the characters are at the dinner experience and the people who didn't do the characters just had lunch there but I thought I'd double check.

Dinner IS a character meal, and on our trip last year, it was our favorite of the three character meals we had (LTT, Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace)

The characters are Minnie, Goofy, Chip&Dale and Pluto. The food was delicious and abundant, the character interaction was great! The characters wear colonial costumes that are so cute!

If your ADR is for dinner, you have a character meal. There are no characters at lunch.

The Liberty Tree is fabulous!!! The characters are around a lot and the food is yummy - we're going again this year to this restaurant...I'm sure you'll love it.

Yes, it is a character meal. And, IMO, the food is good.

Someone will come along and say that the food tastes like a frozen dinner. That's because Stouffer's provides the mac n cheese. I happen to like Stouffer's mac n cheese, but that's me.

Some of the food the restaurant serves is (gasp!) frozen. It isn't like they're plucking feathers off the turkey or churning butter over at the Crystal Palace, either. :)

LTT is one of my family's "must do's".::yes:: Lunch is great and the character dinner is a good one!:goodvibes
