I just made an ADR for LTT for dinner. Is it good? What's it like? I'm not finding much info. What character's are there? THANKS!

We love LTT! And we had the best ever character interaction there. The characters are Chip and Dale, Goofy, Minnie, and Pluto. Sometimes Meeko, too. The food is sponsored by Stouffers (mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, ham, turkey, roast beef, green beans I think, apple cobbler, salad, bread, stuffing..) It's all you can eat served family style. While delicious, it's honestly not the best food in the park, but the atmosphere more than makes up for that in our opinion.

We love love love the strawberry vinegar dressing that's on the salad. YUM.

Our character interaction that really stood out was last time we were there we sat next to each other and not across from each other in the main walkway of the restaurant. All the characters noticed this for some reason!! Dale came over to me and sat next to me pretending to be my boyfriend. He tapped his "fingers" on the table and waited for the waiter to take his drink order. HE was banging forks, looking around like "What the heck why can't I get service??" It was just so hilarious. All the staff said hi to him, but no one took his order like he wanted. Then Chip came over.. spent tons of time with us. Goofy came over too and dropped all of our silverware and was just so funny.

We are just DH and I .. no kids.. and we really appreciated all the time they spent with us.

We enjoyed it so much last year on Mother's Day, that this year we are having my MIL's b-day dinner there!!
Can't wait!!

My dh and I love LTT! :yay: We make a point of dining there on every visit. We think the food is excellent (one of the few "homestyle" meals in all of the parks). It's all you can eat but they bring the food to your table. The character interaction is outstanding! Go for it! You won't be disappointed. :thumbsup2

This is probably our favorite place to eat! The food is great, we've never been disapointed. We have dinner there at least once per trip.

I hadn't eaten there in eyars and then my DH and I ate there twice in two days- once for lunch and again for dinner the next day. Great for lunch and the dinner was very good also- definitely worth it! The characters were really fun!

This is our second fav. TS next to Ohanas. We really like being served family style...after a day in the parks I just want to sit down! ;) We are "meat and potatoes" kind of people so the toned down Thanksgiving aray of food is great! And of course the characters are wonderful as usual. Have a great trip! :goodvibes

We hadn't been there years when we went last winter and we liked it so much, it was the 1st place we booked for this Apr. We have a picky teenage boy who almost gagged at Boma's when we talked him into trying something new. The characters and service were great and all the food was regular "home cooking" style dinner; turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese. Nice relaxing break from the park without the travel to a resort.

We are doing Boma again also, but let him just pick at what's safe for him (plain recognizable meat, plain bread, french fries, pizza).

Oh good! Thanks!

Now-My next question-Did the LTT used to have a Can Can show? My Mom swears this is where we went for that when we were little?

It's better at lunch when it's character-free and you can order off a menu. The best thing about dinner is the Stouffer's Mac & Cheese.

No, that's the Diamond Horseshoe Revue that's been gone for a while now.

We love LTT. The character interaction is great too!

We love LTT too. I love that comfort food and always have good character interaction.

I love LTT:thumbsup2 I like the dinner menu. The food is good and it's all you can eat. I don't know about you but I occasionally like sitting down and not having to think about what I want to eat :cutie: The characters came around several times. Chip signed my DD12 autograph book 3 times. She finally put it away because she didn't want to hurt his feelings if he came back around.

Glad to see this thread! Just booked our ADR at the LTT for dinner in August on the free dining plan. I didn't even know there were characters when I booked it...bonus! :woohoo:

Oh man. LTT is one I have to do every trip (besides CP and CRT). The food there is soooo good- just like Thanksgiving. And the character interaction is great. The characters there are Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, and Dale. They are so cute in the colonial outfits.

You summed it up excellently. :thumbsup2 BF and I love LTT. The character interaction is excellent. The characters came by 3 times while we were there. LTT was also one of 2 restaurants that recognized my birthday on our last trip and they decorated my table for me with birthday confetti. I thought it was really nice of them and a nice little extra. People complain about the food tasting like it came out of a box but I thought it tasted homemade and was fine.

we looooooove LTT!! Food is excellent, characters are excellent, and atmosphere is excellent! This is a definite for us each trip as well! :goodvibes

Agreeing with all the other LTT fans. And, yeah, the character interaction was terrific ... last time we went there were ten of us, six of them all teenage or college-aged girls. They got all KINDS of attention.

And - dunno if this is still the case - but it was once the only place in the whole World that served sweet tea, which to this Southern boy was a big deal.
