Liberty Tree Tavern? BOG? Decisions, decisions...

Making dining decisions is hard! I need help!

I'm traveling with DH, DS9, DS12, mom, dad, sister, and friend. My family dines at Be Our Guest every trip - sometimes multiple times per trip. Knowing that BOG is one of the most coveted WDW reservations, I find the challenge of securing a table exhilarating! And I get such a sense of accomplishment with that confirmation email! (Yes, I'm a big time Disney nerd, but so are you, right?)

Anyway...one person in our group suggested that maybe dine somewhere else during our scheduled MK evening. Fair request... as I mentioned, we have been to BOG many times. I'm considering Liberty Tree Tavern, but have not been there since I was a kid.

I plan on making a ADR for Skipper Canteen lunch on a different day, and I'm not interested in Tony's or CRT or any of the other MK restaurants. It has come down to these 2.

I would really appreciate your thoughts on LTT dinner and please let me know if you think we are crazy to choose LTT over BOG. I'm responsible for all of the planning for our group of 8 and I really try to make them all happy!

We have done both. They are both really good. There is nothing wrong with switching it up. We tend to go back and fourth between the two. I do understand the feeling you get when getting the confirmation with BOG. I am the same way.

We have been to BoG and enjoyed it. This year we scheduled LTT for the first time ever. Our two teenage boys can eat like crazy and like that style of cooking. Plus we just wanted to try something different.

I can't say if you're making the right choice but it's the same thing we are doing!

I love both! Now I do prefer LTT for lunch because of the ooegy goory toffee cake! it is the best dessert in wdw in my opinoin!!!!
