Liberty Tree Menu Is Changing This Week

I had the salad in June 2015...and I did not understand the rave reviews...it was like OP described...cheap bagged lettuce, etc. DH's burger was good in June 2015 and June 2016. The pot roast was really good, but it was too hot out, so I didn't eat a lot of it.

I hope we get more information within 2 weeks. I have ADR for 11/9 and I was going to order pot roast. If not, I may have to go somewhere else.

well the all you can eat fare will just jack up the price. I am glad we went before the change.

And thats and ADR I will now cancel. I dont want AYCTE, I wanted 1 plate of food. Its our last day there, maybe we will just hit up Disney Springs and Homecoming for lunch instead. Very disappointed. :(
well just because it is aycte doesn't mean you can't just eat one plate of food :) I'm not sure why that makes a difference, unless it's the price you are balking at. I would not cancel over that but that is me.

for pot roast panickers, they do sometimes leave stuff off of the online menu. When Tiffins first came online I figured there was no way we could go to it because all they had were mickey check type meals, 2 options with some kind of grilled protein and ancient grains my child would not touch... but a while later they added more to the online menu.

Haha! That's me! The pot roast from LTT is one of the few things that DH requested. I will wait on an ADR change until some first hand reports come in regarding the new menu. I am hoping that the entrée will still be available.

my guess is that this is an elaborate enough entree that they are not going to make it JUST for the kid's menu. it's not like mac and cheese or throwing nuggets in a fryer. it's a "mini selection from the adult menu" type and only makes sense if on the adult menu as well. hang tight! it's hard, I know!

Colony Salad is my favorite. If it goes no more Liberty Tree for me and I have ADRs in Nov. and Jan :(
I will be watching for the new menu and change my ressie if I need to

This is my favorite as well and I was looking for a lunch reservation in December. Guess I'll keep an eye on the menu changes and see if I think it will be worth it.

1) The MAIN CHANGE is that you an now order the Patriot's Platter.
2) That is the same as the AYCTE dinner meal.
. . . Roasted Turkey Breast,
. . . Sliced Prime Rib,
. . . Carved Pork Roast with Mashed Potatoes,
. . . Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Stuffing,
. . . House-made Mac and Cheese
3) The ala carte menu really didn't change.
4) However, much like other eateries, they plan to eventually go to a menu that is the same all day.
. . . less cost
. . . less manpower
. . . less food waste
. . . less wait staff

I mean, the a la carte menu essentially only has three options now -- a pasta (with either shrimp or chicken), a salad with salmon, and a burger. They've removed the pot roast platter, turkey platter, veggie sandwich, Liberty Boys sandwich (slow roasted pork), and the fish and chips. So, based on the online menu, I'd say the a la carte menu changed quite a bit!

With the price not listed online for the AYCTE meal, this became a much more disappointing option (in my opinion) for lunch. Like you said, it seems to be that they're following the trend of one menu for the whole day.

I'll be in the park tonight and I'll try and remember to take a look at the posted lunch menu to see pricing for everyone.

Does anyone know the price of the AYCTE for lunch?

I am really disappointed with this change. I just want a turkey dinner, not all the other meats and not the salad.

@RyMickey, if you can, can you ask at the restaurant if we can still order adult size pot roast? It really doesn't make sense they would have it under children's menu but not adults.

Pot roast and Liberty Boys sandwich was 2 items I was going to order in 2 weeks and now I don't know what to do since it's impossible to switch ADRs around without dropping FP+.

Thank you so much

They really got rid of the Pilgrim's feast and pot roast? That's terrible. :sad2: Those two items are the reason we go there, plus it goes with the theme of the restaurant.

Edit: Looking at the menu, it sucks, imho. I don't want an AYCE platter with stuff with other foods I don't want to eat. Plus way too much food for one person, unless, it's for the whole table. The a la carte items won't interest my family either. I guess everyone is right, we will have to wait for more information. But I'm sad our favorite place to eat in MK has changed it's menu.

That's what I don't get either. Just fix yourself one serving and you're all set! Unless I'm missing something...:smooth:

Where can I find the email address to complain to Disney?

I have two reservations for our next trip for the Pilgrims Feast. I don't want all the extras and yes, I know I could just not eat them, but what a waste and there won't likely be enough turkey.

Disappointing news. Lunch at LTT prior to Christmas party was one I was looking forward to most. Would like to know the new cost fo the AYCTE to update my estimated food budget.

It just dawned on me Pilgrims Feast itself changed? What was on the original Pilgrims Feast? Thank you

Pilgrims feast was turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and a gravy boat on the side. I'm trying to remember if there was a veggie too? It was not all you care to eat but it was enough, although the last time we were there, we ordered a side of turkey because DD was still hungry and loved the turkey.

ARRRGGHHH

Why has it changed? We had our first ADR this year and had my heart set on the pot roast. We don't want 'all you care to enjoy' we don't eat that much, so it's just a waste

I just got a reservation for dinner since the dessert sounds really good.
