Liberty Tree Menu Is Changing This Week

@ahelmes71, thank you. Too bad they won't let us order "kid's meal". lol!

So you ordered patriot platter and your wife ordered pasta dish? If both of us don't have to order Patriot Platter, it might work for us. My son might like the patriot platter but it's too much for me so I want to order pasta dish shrimp like your wife. Did she like the pasta?

My mom ordered the kid's pot roast before and they had no problem with it.

AYCTE platter at lunch is $33 per someone on Reddit there now. Includes drink and dessert.

That IS a big difference. The previous Pilgram's platter was $19. It was exactly what I wanted to order for our Thanksgiving trip. Hubby & I would've split that & the colony salad. I don't want a drink (except water) and I like to split a dessert. I don't want pot roast, mac & cheese etc. As others mentioned, that would be too much for me since I want to eat another meal for dinner later. My kids don't like stuffing so the family style AYCTE did not appeal to us or fit our needs.

Now if I want to keep my ADR & I want turkey & stuffing, I'll have to pay $14 more & get some extra items I don't want. I can't even give the items away because even though I'll pay out of pocket everyone knows you can't split AYCTE. Sigh. Whimper. Whine.

Okay. At least we get to go to Disney! I know we are blessed. (But I do wish they wouldn't have taken away the option to order a turkey & stuffing plate. lol)

Well, our Christmas Day lunch will probably now be a CS because if the menu stays as is, we'll be cancelling.

I would eat some of the things on the AYCTE platter, but don't want the salad or the dessert and with no vegetarian option now, our DD would only have dessert. Such a shame because everyone in our family has enjoyed our last 2 lunches there.

Anyone who does not like this change-please email Disney and let them know!!! Hopefully if enough people complain they will at least add back the turkey and pot roast lunches.

Do you know which email address is the best to use? I've never actually been upset enough with Disney to have to email before.

I just use the "contact us" form on their website. I already emailed and have heard back from them.

Wow, what a crappy lunch menu now!! We had ADRs scheduled for Feb & Apr so I'll let those go now. Ugh, I hate when they ruin a good thing. :(

Email sent. If they do not change it back before our reservation on the Nov. 13th, I am cancelling. So sad. We were really looking forward to this one.

So, basically, did the meats in the AYCTE meal go back to the ones they had before they started serving pot roast and ham? We were so mad about the sliced beef being off the menu in August but fell in love with the pot roast! I personally am okay with it if it goes back to the beef and pork, but I can totally understand and sympathize with the pot roast lovers.

Anyone have a pic of the new bread pudding dessert? I'm not a huge bread pudding fan (but I'm open...) and wish they would bring back the Johnny Appleseed cake for the AYCTE meal!

Just ate there today...had been looking forward to the pot roast for months....today I come in for lunch and my only option is the $33 patriot platter unless I want a generic cheeseburger I can get anywhere.

With a 2:00 reservation it still took a half hour to get seated. So I gorged myself on way more food than I actually wanted for a midday meal and our lunch bill tallies $75. Very disappointed. Im now back at the lodge with a tummy ache, too.

The turkey and fixings were good, but I was not planning to eat Thanksgiving dinner already.

Was there turkey gravy and if so, was it in a gravy boat? Was there cranberry sauce?

They did provide gravy boat for turkey. The bread pudding was good, but he gave me like a portion that would serve four people. I ate some, but a lot was wasted too. I hate wasting food, especially at $33 a plate.

The pork was okay...prime rib was decent but kind of fatty. Would have preferred just all turkey or the pot roast for sure.

Do they have horseradish for the prime rib and cranberry sauce for the turkey?

I was never a fan of dinner at LTT, so I can't imagine that I'll like the AYCTE lunch offering very much. I know that this my 3rd post on this, but I'm just heartbroken if the pot roast is really gone. Our ADR is on Christmas day. I could've gotten Be Our Guest, but couldn't think of anything else I'd want more on Christmas than the pot roast. And it's too late to get an ADR somewhere else now.

Somehow, I don't think eating a Bacon Cheeseburger is going to feel like a special Christmas meal.

Perhaps not on Xmas day but you'd be surprised how many ADRs I've seen open up a few days prior now that people are charged for no-shows...just keep tryin! Good luck

Does someone have a pic of the actual Menu? I am confused as to whether it is now just like dinner and only AYCTE or is it still a varied menu at lunch with pasta, etc.

I don't have a pic of the menu (I know I said I'd be in MK passing by last night, but that didn't happen unfortunately). What seems to be the case is there is an AYCTE option for $33 which has pork, turkey, and beef along with mac and cheese and some veggie options (along with dessert), and then there is a salad with salmon, a burger, and a pasta (the same as before) with your choice of shrimp or chicken. And that's it.

I wonder if they will allow you to split the plate? Often if a portion is huge both & DH will just share it. I hate stuffing my self to justify the cost.
