Liberty Sq Riverboat refurb

What work is being done that it's closed for so long? Was it in such disrepair that it takes nine months to fix? I can't imagine it's getting "plussed". I'm (very) mildly disappointed it won't be open for my trip.

The Riverboat is under a major refurbishment due to a great deal of deteriorating wood and some engine repair issues. Evidently the amount of work was greater than expected and the Riverboat will be closed even longer than originally planned.

Kenny is now saying that it will be back in action on 29 September.
