Don't you just hate being lied to?

Tonight I was lied to by someone I love, and it really got to me. I'm more angry than upset.

This person made me feel bad because I didn't believe what they were saying, despite knowing that they were lying all along.

Sure, most people tell little white lies, but to lie to the point where someone feels bad and upset is just wrong.

What are all your opinions on liars?

Little, meaningless lies don't bug me.
I've never been lied to in a hurtful lie, but I hate people who lie over stupid things.
Like they'll lie about who they're texting to (they're not even texting, just opening their phone and pretending), they'll lie about things they've done, things they've seen, etc.
I used to know a guy who would say that his cat was the reason he had cuts on his arms. Yeah, your freaking declawed cat was kicking your arm with his back paws -.-

i hate it when your friends are only so because of sympathy

i hate it when my freinds lie to me......................it really tickes me off!!!!!!!!!!

As long as they aren't important things that they lie about, I'm not too bugged by it.

I have two friends who lie about the weirdest stuff: one of them told me that he's immune to aids because his grandmother lived through the bubonic plague, hahaahaha. It wasn't like, in the beginning of the relationship either. It was probably a year after we started hanging out. The other one told me he was born in south africa and his dad was killed by the government and his mother sent him to america to be with his grandmother.

The only people that seem to hurt me with their lies have been boyfriends.

Eck.
My friends think I believe them.
I know their lying.
I'm not stupid.

I hate being lied to too.
I mean I use to be "friends" with my older cousin but stopped because I was sick of her lying to me and I knew when she lied. It was obvious.

I can't stand when people lie. Even worse I can't stand when people lie to my face, knowing that both I and that person know the truth.

Oh my gosh.
After art, during chorus,

My "friend" polly told me that she found are choir teacher on an internet dating service. That she was like 15 when that happend. WHEN MY TEACHER WAS 15??

Pfft.
She was around when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Polly is a liar. Geeze.

with all honesty i think that our society is built on lies and if some of them didnt exist we probaly wouldnt be here right now

Little white lies that will not hurt anyone, don't bother me. But when someone lies to me about something big, or hurtful it really ticks me off. I hate when people think I am stupid enough to believe their lies.

Lies seriously bug me.
Even the little white lies.
Not the ones that are intended for a joke or to avoid hurting someone, but like,

"I love the Beatles."
"OMG me too, I listen to them all the time!"
"What's your favorite song?"
"Ummm, I dunno.. that famous one?"

Like, why lie about something like that?! So annoying.

Lies usually bug me. Sometimes I find them funny though.... (see below to understand)

THere is this girl at my school who is ALWAYS lieing. ALWAYS. The funny part? If you get a group of 3 or so people together, some who know her, some who just know of her, w/e the case may be, you can prove that she is lieing! So easily too!!! I can't even begin to list some of the things she has said. A few of the girls at my lunch table know her really well (they can't stand her though) and they tell me and my other friends some of the things she says and we just sit there and prove them wrong.

My opinion, if your going to lie, be good at it. Thats all I have to say.

While we are on the subject of things that bug us.

I can't stand people who will say something hurtful to your face and then act as if its not rude. Today somone say something to my friend and I was just like "what the heck?" The kid acted like what he said was so funny, when it wasn't. And he says he's our friend.... ummmm not anymore. Haha

Speaking of lies, I used to have a neighbor who lied so much.

She told me she got Tweety Bird's (remember him?) autograph when she went to WDW.

She told me she had a 15 million dollar inheritence coming because of her dead parents. I sort of believed it only because her grandmother (who she lived with) is pretty well off. So I mentioned it to her grandma casually one day and she was shocked and said no I was mistaken, her parents were in drug rehab.

For some reason when I was little a lot of friends told me their parents were dead, then when I went to their house their parents had risen from the dead. I think I used to have a crazy sense of friends.
