Has anyone ever used this brand? How are they? I always use SanDisk, but I found a really good deal on Lexar, and was wondering if anyone has used them before.

I have one of their 4 gig sd cards it writes and reads rather fast by what I can tell. I would have not problem with buying their card again. Whats the deal if you dont mind my asking

An E-Bay auction.

I believe Lexar has been around since day one. The first CF card I ever purchased and which I still use today is a Lexar 256 Meg. 40X. I remember it well because I purchased it along with my Nikon D100. I paid $240.00 for that card... how times have changed!
I am happy to say that I haven't had a single problem with any of my Lexar CF cards.

There are many other brand cards which are also very good but my loyalty will stay with Lexar.

Check out there web site at http://www.lexar.com/

Lexar is a highly respected and well known brand. It is used by many professionals. Like other products they have consumer level products and pro products. I use the lexar pro 133 and 300 udma cards and have never had one go bad on me.

I would not be concerned with any lexar card.

Been using them since 1999, had a problem with one but relegated it to digital photo frame after reformatting, since then it has worked fine.

I have a 1gb Lexar that is 4 years old and is still going. Would by again if the right deal came along.

I have 3 of them (lexar professional) 2 - 2gig and a 1 gig they are my favorite cards. The one and only time I had any issue with them was when we were at Disney in June of 07 and DH had pulled the files off and put them onto DVDs - then I used one of the cards again without reformatting. It got an error and I thought I had lost about 50 photos - was heartbroken. BUT the cards also came with a free version of image rescue and I was able to get those photos back. Now I always reformat before I start using a card after getting the files off of it.
