Got an email from my DD. They made it to CC. Had rain on and off but she said that they had a good time. A little disappointed though because the parasailing was cancelled.

Now let's hope the sail into Port Canaveral will be a smooth one.

Oh good they did made it!! I am not suprised about the parasailing. It frequent cancels.

It's hard to believe it's early all over! So glad they made it to CC. And both times I have booked parasailing it was cancelled - and I was delighted! I am definitely not meant to do it!

That is good that they went to CC. But about parasailing as there will be another times anyway.

My husband was disappointed as his first time was cancelling then he managed last May.

I think CC is important than parasailing!!

I cannot believe that it is finish today.

You will look forward to see your dd and hear about the Cruise.

Had some delays getting the ship cleared for debarkation but she's in port and ready for the 5 day.

Yea, I heard about the delay in getting the ship cleared and then people were allowed off in groups. At least they made it!

I hope my sister and her family made their flight with the delay - they had a 10:55am flight! Hopefully they got things cleared up by 9am to get them on their way....

Magic is going Drydock early sept...They are making major changes on the ship...

I am wondering now if Hurricane Gustav is going to impact the Magic coming home.

What interesting is that Panama 05 we went through the Hurricane Katrina. Although it didn't really have an impact on our cruise but of the unfortunate impact of New Orleans and it stated it will be going there again this time again. It like it is repeating history exactly 3 years later. We had guest on our ship who were from New Orleans and i believe they had to fly home from Curacao.

In 2005 we actually skirted very close to hurricane HILARY (which gave us those big waves and rain).......while Katrina was raging havoc on New Orleans....and you are correct Katrina did not impact our cruise at all.

Yea that gave us a scare also. Although i had fun riding the waves (never got sick from it) and swam in the adult pool with the waves..wheee..(got kick out later though!! ) but it resulted we miss Cabo!!! PHOOEY!!! But also, It was fun for us Republicans to curse at Hurricane Hillary!!!!

I have pictures of the pool "waves", too. Loved the waves, we didn't get sick either. Lots of people did however.
