Has a total stranger done something good to you or for you, lately?

I dropped my wallet in the parking lot of a local gas station and a lady found it and gave it to the clerk inside. Luckily the clerk knew who I was and called me instantly. The lady was someone just passing thru town.

Thankyou. :)

I REALLY want to thank the Duke Power worker who got my parents power back on. They have been without power since last Thursday after the ice storm. They are elderly and definitely couldn't take the cold. They have been staying with us since then. Just went home today. I really love them but I am sooooo glad that their power is back on.

I know the feeling. Years ago the power went out for 4 days and my sister and her family of three small children including a 6-month old came to stay with us. The baby cried quite a bit because she wasn't in her own crib. I loved helping them out but was SO glad when their power came back on! :goodvibes

I want to thank many of my fellow DISers for their patience, great advice and general support on an on-going basis!

I know this is supposed to be thank a stranger -- but my friend deserves to have her horn tooted:

She recently found a small bag from a local jewelry store next to the sink in Bath and Body - inside was a small wrapped box. She promptly took it back to the jewelry store, who checked and sure enough is was an engagement ring someone had bought as a Christmas gift...

Way to go - Dorothy - thank you for being so honest!!!

I don't think of us as strangers! ;) :goodvibes

The disney bus going home to POR from the Magic Kingdom on Thursday night was just packed. There were quite a few of us standing up. Well a family had their son sit on mom's lap so I could sit down with my DD. That was so very very nice of them! He was so tired too! Poor little guy.

Thank you nice family!!!!

That's true, but I just wanted to have a chance to give everyone a big thanks. I just bent the rules a little!

Ohh, I hope this doesn't go political! ;) ;) ;)

My husband took our 4 kids and my sons friend out to breakfast Sunday. I was at work.

The waitress came over and handed him $10.00. A customer who just left told the waitress any man who comes out with 5 kids alone is a good man in her book so she wanted to pay for his breakfast.

My parents own the Diner so breakfast was free so hubby left the waitress the $10 tip.
