Let's talk about Water....

So we all know hat water is an important part of this being healthy goal of ours!!! So how do you like your water!! WIth ice or without , plain with lemon.....

I like my water with a slice of lemon and ice!!!! I drink at least 96 ounces of it a day now!!! And I hated water at one time!!! I also heard it is really good if you put a drop of vanilla extract in it but I have not tried it!!
 
Plain ice water for me please! :)
 
One thing I never do is drink water with my meals. YUCK! Blech! Pooie! Cack! I do drink a glass, standing over the sink before I eat, and usually after I eat, and after I use the ladies room (strange habit, I know, but it works for me). With my meals, I like Milk, Iced Tea, Wine. Oh. I also drink a lot of it when I workout.

I have to drink my water room temperature. Isn't that weird! Any other drink (cocktail, iced tea, lemonade, pop) has to be cold with ice, but I can't drink water that way!

I try to drink 4-5 bottles of water per day while I'm sitting at work. I start my day with a glass in front of the kitchen sink while taking my vitamins. In the evenings, I usually drink something else.
 

I like my water very cold from the fridge (Brita pitcher or bottled water), but no ice. :eek:

Lately, I have been pouring myself a large glass of San Pelegrino sparkling water and adding a lime to have with my dinner. It goes nicely with the glass of wine I allow points for. ;)

Same here! :confused:

Thanks for the reminder about drinking water. That's always been one of the hardest parts about healthy dieting for me. I really have to force myself.
 
I really need to drink more water! I try and try and never seem to get the total in! I am improving though. I like ice water with a lime wedge and a little lime zest in it. I also really love lime Perrier, as it gives me some fizz and I am trying hard to knock the diet soda habit.

I think it depends on the plan but WW recommends 48-64 oz/day.

Ok good.. I've been drinking almost over 100 oz a day!!!! My bladder is feeling it too!!!
 
I also cannot drink cold water.

I am a teacher and I drink so much water during the day that I have to leave in the middle of every class to go to the restroom. I also go in between every class. This has really been a problem for me.

I don't want to drink less water, but I really worry about leaving 20 teenagers in a room every day while I pee. Any suggestions?? I've even considered Poise.
 
I read somewhere recently that the whole water drinking thing while on a weight loss program is not as important as they once thought.

Also, I was told years ago that if you DO drink a lot of water while on a weight loss program, it should be very cold, as the colder it is, the harder your body works to absorb it and it speeds up your metabolism...
 
is served to me (by me) in a large (12 oz) freezable mug - you know the kind you keep in the freezer and the liquid in the walls of the mug freeze and keep the drink cold.

I take a water bottle with me in the car everywhere too. Sometimes this is a problem though..................:)

I'm thinking of keeping some fruit on hand to add to it. I was at a restaraunt once that had lemons, oranges, and strawberries in their water and it was yummy!

I also drink a glass everytime I visit my potty - even during the night!

I actually like water and get thirsty for water! My kids have picked up this habit too! yea for us!
 
I purchased a water cooler...but I like my H2O room temp..so I just fill up some 16oz bottles and leave them out...but my kids have started drinking more water..so the cooler has been worth it!!

I have been drinking a ton of water lately...always with ice and always with a slice of lemon...yummy!
 
Gee, I like mine with Crystal Light! Does that count as water????

Me too Tracy!!! Also, I like my water at room temperature and NEVER EVER EVER NEVER in the mornings. I get nauseus when I see or think about drinking water that early. Now soda that early is another thing altogether!!!! :teeth:

I drink bottled water - 16.9 ounces each and they have to be COLD! Well, at least when I start them. After I get my water in for the day, then I can move on to my diet sodas. My entire family likes drinking water. Having a sport bottle top on the bottle definitely makes it go down quicker too!

I try to drink a minimum of 4-24 ounce bottles of water everyday. I probably should drink more than that, though.
