Matinee movie and parking recent advice?

I saw some older threads but wasnt sure what has changed with Epic drawing more crowds. We want to get tickets for Thunderbolts Sunday and I saw that two or more tickets allows free Citywalk parking. Do I have to pay for parking and be reimbursed or does showing the tickets to the parking attendant get me in the garage? I saw a few reddit threads that mentioned a bar code on the tickets, but I think that may have been Hollywood. Is there a parking window around the movie time or can we stay parked from open to close and enjoy Citywalk?

on the Universal website it says pay the parking fee and get reimbursed when you show your receipt at the box office. There is a FAQ link on the website linked below. I would think once you are parked, you are there until you leave. They don't check what time you are leaving, ASAIK
