Am I the only one who is not overly concerned about possibly being sued because someone gets hurt playing in my yard or in my pool or I look at their kid funny
It seems that there are so many posts on here that end up with people talking about being afraid of getting sued. I think it is a sad day when some people won't even have a friend over or let a kid shovel their walk in case they get hurt. Maybe I'm naive but I refuse to live like that. I guess I like to think the best about people but who knows maybe that'll bite me in the butt someday

it was nasty, but still i had no thoughts of sueing.


I actually DO have the parents sign a waiver.
That's exactly what my husband's employer requires from each employee whenever there is a celebration/function outside of work. If you don't sign the waiver, you can't attend the function.
