...why, is that rectangular object in her back pocket a tv remote??!?!?! :rolleyes1

Wrong lady. They were talking about the one with the high heels and the super-short shorts who looks like she's out trolling for a man. The lady in the bad white pants is a pretty awful fashion violation too though!

I keep a tin of mints in my back pocket at WDW (but NEVER in clingy white pants), I hope my butt doesn't show up on this thread!

[...I KNEW that.... :confused3 it was a poor [obviously]attempt at humor.....]

[ :rolleyes1 ]

I took these on our last trip...

How can she walk around EPCOT in those things?!

I didn't notice the woman bending over until we got home and I uploaded my photos.

could his pants be any longer and could her shorts be any shorter?

Ummmm... how do I put this?

That's me. Edit: And thanks for blocking out my face.

Shut up! It was only a matter of time before someone recognized themself! It's a great outfit and the boots are seriously sassy. I was going to say that I have a pair of heeled boots I can wear all day, but didn't think anyone would believe me.

Seriously,

I can think of a lot worse things to look at. No offense, but I am thinking of all the plus sized people I saw during free dining. I saw adipose tissue spilling everywhere. :rolleyes1

Yeah - the shoes are on the Epcot girl are crazy, but at least the butts on both of these women are normal sized. (My bad and so politically incorrect)

This thread has become very mean-spirited. I think the purpose was funny or odd photos, not an opportunity to put down other people. There's no need to cruelly insult people you don't even know. Although I will note that when you do so, you're saying more about yourself than you are about them.

I don't really see most of the comments here as mean-spirited or cruel. A bit snarky (i.e. sarcastic, impertinent, or irreverent in tone or manner) but have seen nothing that really went over the top. It is definitely dark humor, but it has it's place on the spectrum. Celebrate Diversity! LOL

For my own part, I generally don't engage in negative body image/style/taste type comments (except for the Mulan dude cuz.......dang!). Mainly, this is because I am a bit "pear" shaped, have no style or taste to wit. Hard for me to imagine what we are all supposed to look like due to the imperfect template that made me.

I do know what is funny to me and some of the comments here have me absolutely ROFLMAO. No, really.

I admit I would hate to see an unflattering image of myself on this thread.....but if it did show up, I would like to think that I could find some humor in it.

Or having failed that, move on to a thread that doesn't offend me.

I think a lot of the comments/photos are not meant in a mean-spirited way, but more of a "what the heck were they thinking?" way. For example, nobody is saying the dressy woman at the MK looks BAD, just that the attire seems out of place at the MK. Same thing with the high heels. Nobody said the shoes are ugly, just that they are inappropriate for walking around Epcot all day. Those are the kind of things that make you do a double-take and think, "What the....???" Hence the thread title.

That being said, I can remember walking around Universal Studios in the early 90s in my shorts, black tshirt, studded dog collar, and colorfully patterned tights. Oh yeah, and black Doc Marten booties. So I have no room!

.....:scared: uhhhhh, isn't the NAME of this thread called: "WHAT the....?!?!?"

...just an observation......:confused3

Like the other two or three or more previous posters to this post, I don't see anything mean-spirited or being cruel/insulting :confused3

Having a bad day

You really think there's nothing mean-spirited about pointing out a woman's cellulite or saying plus sized people are terrible to look at? Wow.

Well when you think about it the comment about overweight people was kind of snotty, don't you think?:confused3

Do you read Glamour magazine? They do this all the time, the DOs and DONTs of fashion., they just black out the eyes so you cannot identify the person.
