Lets see some ride pics!!!

Brooke1 am not able to see pics on the site. says I am not allowed to view. What am I doing wrong? :sad1:

BluOrchid2 - To celebrate the 50th birthday at Disneyland most of the original attractions have one gold ride vehicle - the Carousel, Dumbo, Teacups, Storybookland Canal Boats, Jungle Cruise & Autopia; the Casey Jr Circus Train's engine is painted gold and some of the Main Street vehicles (streetcar, horseless carriage) are painted gold. At Peter Pan and Mr. Toad there is one vehicle sitting outside the attraction that is gold. They are very cool; but from what I understand the CMs hate them because EVERYBODY wants to ride the gold one and park guest are fighting over the gold horse for their kid to ride it or trying to take pictures when the ride is over or trying to wait for the gold boat at Jungle Cruise where there really isn't anywhere to wait in the ride que. We went for early entry on the 4th of July at 7am! The things I do for my kids!!

Ditto and some great shots in difficult lighting! Looks to be digital? Did you have to crank up the ISO setting? Tripod maybe?

Here are the settings:
Pooh: shutter speed=1/125 sec, aperture=f/3.5, ISO=1600
Small World: shutter speed=1/60 sec, aperture=f/3.5, ISO=1600
John Wayne: shutter speed=1/320 sec, aperture=f/2.2, ISO=1600
Indiana Jones: shutter speed=1/60 sec, aperture=f/2.2, ISO=3200
Casablanca: shutter speed=1/100 sec, aperture=f/2.2, ISO=1600
Wicked Witch: shutter speed=1/50 sec, aperture=f/2.0, ISO=1600
Catastrophe Canyon: shutter speed=1/100 sec, aperture=f/8.0, ISO=200
I recognize the fact that the only way I'll ever get decent fireworks shots is to use a tripod, but I refuse to carry one around.

jlima - love the gold ride vehicles!

LOL, yep probably so. Either it's irresistable, or I'm a sheep. :rotfl:

Hmm. Maybe I should start a new thread on the most popular photo ops in the 4 parks!

These are from my favorite ride at AK! I have the same pictures of this tree every year we go.

Thanks for the link, Brooke! Looks like there's lots of great info there!

Two Old Poohs - - Several of your photos are from the Great Movie Ride at MGM, right? I'd like to take our 5 year old on it, but I'm wondering if the Alien part may be too scary for him. I haven't been on it for 20+ years and I just can't remember how intense it is.
You have such great photos - - as usual!!! :thumbsup2
