On the WDW side of the boards is a lot of discussion of the type, I have 5 day what park should I go to each day? They always seem to be two in MK, 1in the others.

I've found MK 3/4 day, AK 1 day, DHS 1/2 day, Epcot 2days. Though since I don't go to WDW as casually I pack a lot more in.

DHS has a problem for me. The only things to do more than once are ST, RnRC, ToT and TSM. So only RnRC is a DHS only attraction, I've been on the others a lot and have a better chance of getting to DLR to ride them too.

While the semi lousy MK needs the FLE badly, DHS needs more, of anything.

I was going to agree with this BUT honestly we don't go to MK when we visit WDW. So I would have to put DHS ahead of MK...barely and that's because my DH loves the Indy show there. Last trip we didn't even make it there and I didn't miss it.

That is normally how the park schedules go, I agree. 2 MK, 1 for everything else. But as you say, sometimes that's not the best way to go.

Speaking of Tower of Terror, do you agree that we have the better attraction?

As far as ToT yes it's better in DHS than DCA. Not as much difference as in DL POTC being better than MK's but more than Space to Space.

The only two aspects of ToT in DCA I like better are the angle of the ride, and wait time. DCA has a much shorter wait, and it faces into the park. I didn't notice the anlge of DHS's until I rode the DCA and then went back to DHS. DCA looks strait into the parks at the DLR. You see the mountain in all the parks. In DHS you see a third DHS, a third backstage and a third the outside of the parks which draws your attention to World Dr. a bit, not as pleasant but a small part of the ride anway.

Very true, I never thought about that and the angle. I normally ride ToT at night, because I believe it just "feels" better at night. Same for the Haunted Mansion.

And wait wise, I dunno. I've never had to wait more then 30 minutes for it at DHS.

A cool thing is looking at Epcot and DHS from the top Expedition Everest. Really awesome sights that way.

My children let me know what they loved and hoped that they could ride at Disneyland, that they had at WDW.

They all loved the safari. Real life animals. This is an awesome ride.

They loved Kim Possible. Going through the countries, finding interactive clues and hunting for more. They loved this more then some of the rides.

My boy loved Test Track. In 2012, Disneyland will have its version of Test Track.

They all loved Philharmagic in 3D. Went to that over and over.

There are 2 waterparks in WDW and my kids loved both of them. But there aren't any at Disneyland.

In Magic Kingdom, my girls rode Alladin's flying carpet, similar to Dumbo. It had front and back seat controls and the girls loved it more than Dumbo.

They all loved the People Mover. Disneyland should bring that one back if they can.

Lastly, we love Disneyland Churros. Fresh, crispy, loaded with cinnamon/sugar. The kids will ask for it 4 times a day. WDW's churros taste pre-made, stale. After eating it and disliking it, we gave it another chance with the same result. They never asked for it for the rest of the trip.

I agree with most of the posts regarding the rides. We went to WDW in Nov for the first time. Now I wish we would have gone on TofT(Skipped cuz we ran out of time and figured it's ok since we had one at DL) If we start talking about the food carts, then I agree about the churros and were sooooo bummed WDW does not sell CHIMICHANGAS!!

We're going to DL in just 2 weeks and there are a couple of CHIMICHANGAS with our names on them!

While I will agree that the angle of view is better at DCA, I feel the overall ride experience is better at DHS. One of my favorite parts of TOT is moving forward though the eerie floor before the drops.

I'd probably give the edge to everything at Disneyland. Even Splash.. I like that it's faster. I think WDW's Pooh is probably better though.

And at DLRs Tower of Terror, I don't really miss the 4th room, especially with that horrible picture of the vehicle effect. Are they still doing that? One of the times it malfunctioned and we were met with an ominous Windows logo.

So it seem in total you agree with me. Just read the first sentence of what you quoted from my post.

I really like ToT for how it was designed. A great idea went into how the ride vehicles would work.

Just got back from a DL trip last week, so now I remembered one more to add. The character meals are so much better at DL!!!! At WDW, pretty much every character meal is a standard 5 characters (like Ariel's Grotto at CA). At Minnie's Breakfast, our last DL trip I was impressed because we had I think 7 characters. Last week we had 11 characters!!!! We could hardly eat because there was always a character at our table! It was great! We had 7 characters at Goofy's. The interaction with the characters at those 2 meals are better than anything at WDW too! We went to Goofy's right when it opened and it wasn't crowded yet, so the characters played a ton with DD until it started filling up and they had longer rounds to make.
