Any idea what this new "Let's Have a Ball" immersive experience is all about?

'Immersive experience'? Is this something different from the show? :confused3
If you mean the show, it's a sweet, gentle show geared primarily toward preschoolers and younger children, where the 'host' of the show and his helpers lead the children through little games as they await Princess Aurora and Prince Philip (who show up at the end for a meet-n-greet). It's cute, tame, and the little ones seem to love it.

Oh... it's a show! The Disney e-mail I got called it an "immersive experience". I guess that is Disney-speak for "show" now!

I think that just means it's a show that some audience members get to participate it - playing games, etc.

It's a little show in the Courtard right outside the Castle (not far from CRT). Some party planners and merry makers for the royal balls in Fantasyland come out and play some games like Simon Says, Freeze Tag and others. Aurora and Phillp comes out atthe end, teach everyone a dance, and do a meet-and-greet. It's pretty cute and has a number of Disney jokes and references and music from many of the Disneymania CDs. A must for preschoolers and anyone who wants to meet Aurora and Phillip.

I wish I had known what that was. We waited for DH there once and I didn't know. Aurora is one of the few princesses my daughters would have liked to meet who we never saw. Oh well, there's always next time...

I noticed when we went to Storytime w/Belle if we were in the back on the right side you could jump right into the line and be the first or second in line.

Is there a spot like that in this show show that gets you closer in the front for the meet and greet with Aurora?

The line for Phillip and Aurora starts on the side of the castle (right side if you are standing in the back), if you stand along the rail you will be in line (the line usually goes down the path on that side of the castle). I really wanted to get my picture with them so we waited on a bench near Tinker Bell's Treasures, which is near the door they come out. When the show ended we let 8 kids run in front of us and then claimed a spot in line. You also get an Aurora sticker, we each got one and I saw them around all three days I was there.
