Well seems to me I love baseball. I admitted our poor play, so, not sure how I am so bad. So I will lift the rock, you can crawl back in.


Guess you just can't love a sport for its dynamics anymore.

....and I admit that the Yankees tanked at the end of the season too....ever since Mark Texieira got hurt, they all fizzled out.....and DON'T get me started on my NY Rangers....

I don't have a problem with a Red Sox fan not wanting the Mets to win. Makes sense to me. I was the same way when the Phillies were in the series in 2008/2009. I never want them to win at all. I think you were fair - I'm just teasing about throwing you out.

And I hate when people don't want a team to win because of the fans.

we made our first trip to fenway over the summer. red sox fans have become very soft since them won in 04

and I could name every roster since I became a fan in 1969. So what?

There are plenty of bandwagon Yankee fans too. Every team has life long fans and bandwagon fans. And I'm sure you're aware of that.

I've been an Astros fan since 1988 (year I was born) and can name maybe 1 current player. Nice to know that my inability to remember names makes me a fake fan.

Also I am a semi-Mets fan. I'm marrying into a Mets family so yes when the Mets are playing I'm a Mets fan. I don't feel like cheering for the Meta makes me any less of an Astros fan.

That makes sense to me, too. We become fans for all sorts of reasons. In some ways, I could be considered a bandwagon fan because I became a Mets fan when they won their first World Series. But I was 8, and my mom and dad were Mets fans, so I became one too. And yes, I've stuck with them even when they were awful, but not everyone does that.

Hi Kimmar! We are Yankee fans in our house until the Yankees are out of the running, then we are baseball fans. Our sons had more friends that were Met fans, so it made for some good natured ribbing. Mets looking good tonight.
