This is a way back story, but reading this thread reminded me. I was at WDW in May 1995 with my dh and then 11 month old son. We were waiting for the TTC to the MK to open (first in line!) and, being the overanxious people we are, it was about a half hour wait. There was a mother there with her 6-7 year old son and the child was just obnoxious he was so excited. I helped entertain the boy and then told him about how he could ride in the front of the monorail (at that time you could ride in the front on the express loop, not sure if that's true anymore). The poor bouncing boy's mother was so excited because they were going to a character meal as soon as they got to the MK. Believe me, that boy had no interest in eating at that time. He just wanted to ride some rides. We met up with the little boy an hour later. We had ridden all the rides in Fantasyland and were leaving. They were just starting their day. His mom thanked me because they had ridden in the front of the monorail on the way over. Just my way of spreading a little Disney magic. (Although I still refuse to schedule a character breakfast as the park opens -- we either go before park opening or have a late breakfast.)
