I've never seen the Luau dinner show. Thank you for sharing the wonderful photos. Disney is so amazing!!

I've never seen pics from the Luau dinner before. Looks like such a fun time! And I love the Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride song too! So cute.

Love the Buzz Lightyear shirt Little Guy was wearing. Super cute!

I have never seen the Aloha shoe before. It looks like so much fun! Maybe next time...

Little Guy's shirt is awesome. :thumbsup2

I'm glad to see that you guys enjoy the Luau. I've never been there yet, but I always see mixed reviews. It seems like people either love it or hate it.

The Luau is so much fun, it's great that you got a nice table, right up front! I love Little Guy's shirt, he seems like a very cool guy lol The Poly is so gorgeous, wouldn't it be nice to stay there every trip?

Great update! We enjoyed the Luau as well.

I'm glad you guys like the Luau too!

Love LG shirt, it's perfect for the luau. Someday I'm going to have do this. It looks like so much fun and good food.

It's so sweet the LG want to shop for the baby. He's going to be a great friend to him in the future.

I hope you make it over to the Luau some trip. It is fun.

He is so excited to teach the baby things!

Love the pics! :)

I agree, I always see mixed reviews as well. We have never had a bad show.

The Poly is heaven!

What a fun family tradition. Little Guy's shirt is so cute and perfect for the occasion!

It was the perfect shirt!

In 2010 we stayed in Tahiti and took the TTC all the time. The spirit of aloha dinner show is a favorite with my family. My DSis fell in love with it during our April trip this year.

I have not seen Spirit of Aloha yet, but it's on my Disney bucket list! I know that Madison would really enjoy it. I'm sure we'll wait until Cole is a little older before we go there. It looks so awesome!

Ah, your pictures of the Poly have me aching for these next 100 days to fly by!! :rotfl: The luau looks like a lot of fun! It's official, I'm going on the website and looking into booking it for our upcoming trip.

Little Guy is just so adorable and I LOVED his Buzz shirt. What a perfect shirt to wear for the luau! Your DH seems to be so sweet with him too. He's going to make an amazing father! :goodvibes

I hate my camera, too. I keep telling myself that before we go on our next trip we really need to get a new camera. Though, I look at my Colorado pictures and they look fine! I think... I THINK... my camera takes bad pictures at Disney because it just wants me to go back and experience it again rather than just looking at pictures. Maybe that's your camera's angle as well! :lmao:

Did you end up booking it?! That's exciting!

DH and Little Guy sure do have a special bond.

Um...I think you're right about the whole camera thing!! HAHA!

~May 24, 2013 – Representin’ the Elephant~

We woke up around 7:30, which seems to be the usual time this trip. I walked out of our room to see Little Guy throwing this green stuffed animal up, trying to get it to go on the 2nd floor. He says, “Look what I won playing games yesterday!” He handed the stuffed animal to me, and I immediately saw who it was. I said, “Dude, do you know who this is?!” And he shook his head no. I said, “It’s Pascal from Tangled!!” He looked at it and then realized that it WAS Pascal! He got very excited. So every morning, poor Pascal was flying high and getting bumped into things as we took turns trying to get him up on the 2nd floor from the living room.

We ate in the room and headed down to the bus stop. Everyone else really wanted to see FOTLK, but wanted to do it with everyone together. So, we decided to that we would take things slow for me. The bus to AK was packed! Little Guy spent the ride there telling me everything he did there the day before. We stopped and dropped people off at Blizzard Beach before heading to AK.

We were planning on making it to the 10:30 FOTLK show, so we headed that way as soon as we got to the park.

See his new backpack? He insisted on bringing that, haha! He put the most random things in there!

Guess we won’t be seeing this sign much longer:

We made it to the line and didn’t have to wait very long. As usual, we headed to the elephant section. It seems like we’re always representin’ the elephant! Little Guy didn’t remember much of the show from the last trip, so he was excited to see the monkeys.

And of course, I decided I hated my camera again, so these are the only ones that turned out.

The only other thing we wanted to take Little Guy to do at AK that day was It’s Tough to be a Bug, which only had a 10 minute wait at the time. So, we headed that way.

We had fun looking at all the animals.

I found this awesome area dedicated to Jane Goodall, but of course, my camera would not take a decent picture of it! I loved learning about her in Psychology and Sociology classes.

Little Guy liked the show, minus the part where it gets pitch black. Of course, what did he want to do as soon as we got out of there? Shop for the baby!

He found some Mickey socks that he decided the baby needed. He also got himself a shark tooth necklace.

While they finished up in there, DH and I headed over to Yak & Yeti to put our name in for lunch.

It was a 25 minute wait, but by the time everyone else met up with us, we only had to wait about 10 more minutes. DH and I were so excited to introduce everyone to Y&Y. They ended up loving it! We all had the sweet ‘n sour chicken, except Little Guy who had chicken strips or something. We also got pot stickers for an appetizer, which are amazing there!

We had a good time at AK even though we didn’t do very much that day. We decided to head back to BLT for a little nap and rest before our rest of the night.

~Up next: Let’s Do the Wave!~

Guess we won’t be seeing this sign much longer:

I'm confused. Are they getting rid of FOTLK?! Hopefully not before October I was planning on seeing this show then!

Even though we have ITTBAB here at Disneyland, I want to take my DM to this show so she can see the Tree up close. DH absolutely hates this show, so he can watch DS.:thumbsup2

Aw, love that LG wants to shop for the baby. So cute of him.

It's hard to believe that once upon a time I had no real interest in FOTLK. My God how stupid was I. Just a wonderful show!! I'm actually kinda looking forward to it in it's new location. Africa just makes more sense I think.

Glad Little Guy enjoyed the Bugs. So many children are absolutely terrified in there. I expect I would have been as well as a child. Good on him!

Love Yak and Yeti, I could go there just for the fried wontons on the desert menu.... YUM!! I was just thinking the other day that you must be getting close to time for the baby! I hope you're doing well!
