Let's celebrate this "babymoon" GRAND style!! COMPLETED

Great update!! Nothing is better than a Mickey bar on a hot day. Yum!

That is so crazy what happened at RNRC! You'd think it would be common sense to not get too close to the track. Yikes!

A Mickey bar sounds good right about now. Yum! We haven't done the Disney Junior Show yet. That is on the plan for our July trip. Bayleigh LOVES Sofia and Doc! I'm sure she will love it.

You can't go wrong starting the day with Lego racecars! :thumbsup2

Looks like a fun morning... at least up until that RnRC part. Too bad they were so close, but didn't get to ride. At least they got FP's to come back later.

I can't wait to see Monsters University too. Monsters Inc is one of my favorite Pixar movies. DS is kind of stuck on Nemo, Cars and Tangled right now, but I'm going to have to get him watching Monsters Inc so that we can go see the new movie. In fact, DW has to go somewhere this evening, so I think that might just be what dad and the kids do this evening. :thumbsup2

Hiiii my love :)

I love the idea of having the full kitchen in the bigger DVC villas! So nice to be able to eat before even leaving the room.

I remember you texting me about the baby having his first Mickey bar...I was jelly of him haha ;)

I can't believe that happened at RnRC! Where the heck were the kids' parents?! Jeez louise!

Ahhhhhh I just can't wait to be in Disney with you all again!

You are looking so cute in all your pictures!

Love your Villa at BLT! You are making me want to stay there again :) My favorite part about the DVC villas is eating in the room!

The Disney Junior show sounds cute! I want to see it now... I wonder if adults with no kids go in?!?!

I love One Mans Dream... Every time we walk though I feel like I see and learn something new!

It's only 9am, but I really could go for a Mickey Premium Bar!! Looks like it was a perfect treat on a hot day!

OH! Now i see it!

I love your dress! Very pretty!

Very cute how little guy pointed out the no breakdancing signs!

Thanks! I got it in the maternity section at Target!

Yay for baby's first Mickey bar!! :goodvibes I was going to say you cant call him Little Guy anymore if he is riding ToT, but then he didnt, so its all good. :rotfl: I love how I feel like I know you after all these TRs, but have no idea any of your names!! You have done a great job protecting that! :thumbsup2

Thanks, I know it's probably weird by now that I don't reveal names, but I just feel safer keeping it this way.

We want to go to Marceline, too, one of these days.

Little boys and big boys enjoy Legos! I saw a guy in DTD the other day carrying four large bags of Lego sets. :goodvibes

We're excited for Monsters University, too. Trent and Brandi got to see a private screening of it last week.

Maybe next time LG will make it all the way into Tower of Terror. I hope he loves it when his time comes. :thumbsup2

Little Guy saved up all his money for Lego Land!

Awesome pics! :)

Thanks!

Hi I am just joining along... Great TR!

Congrats on the baby boy!

I'm joining in too!

KIM

Welcome to the both of you!!

Make sure you get there as soon as you can for the time of the show. The line we were in got pretty long behind us, and they had to cut the line off for the next show! You don't want to stand in that line long!

You can't go wrong starting the day with Lego racecars! :thumbsup2

I know, they were SO close to getting on!

Let me know what the kids think of Monsters, Inc.!

Loving your TR so far and subbing in!

Welcome!

I ended up ordering the Go Walks from Kohl's and just got them yesterday. Wow, I love them!! Thanks for the recommendation. I can see a few more pair in my future! What style did you get? I got these

I was thinking of trying some of the other styles.

I'm so glad you like them! I can't remember what style I got. I'll look and let you know!

I can't wait to be back there with you too! Hopefully, you'll either have a little one or have one on the way!

You are looking so cute in all your pictures!

It really is a cute show. If you didn't want to look too out of place, you can go in and sit on one of the benches in the back!

That Mickey bar sure sounds good now!

Hi, joining in.

Congratulations, babies are such a wonderful gift. I'm sure he'll be a Disney lover from the start.

The Grand Villa was beautiful. So much space and so close to everything.

I'm enjoying reading along on your adventure.

I am sad about no more “Paging Mr. Morrow” being gone.
I need to try CHH one day. I keep hearing good things about it.
Chef Mickey’s looked good.
The Villa looks so nice.
Fun times at DHS. I hope they make Star Wars land or Carsland and get rid of the backlot tour.
Great updates and pics.

How cute that Little Guy wanted to ride everything with your DH and play Lego all the time! On a sidenote, I think Lego is one of the greatest toys out there because it fosters imagination and creativity. I grew up playing Lego with my older brother, and even now, my husband is still obsessed with it! I always like it when kids (young and old) LOVE Lego!

I like how Little Guy now sees the sign as no breakdancing!!!

You have to try CHH, Scott!

I have heard rumors that they are replacing the Backlot Tour and Stunt Show with Carsland! I hope they are right!

I agree with you about the Legos! DH grew up those, so I know he'll pass it on to our little one.

~May 23, 2013 – I’m finally their guest!~

We left off meeting back up with DH and Uncle after the Backlot Tour. We were headed to use our TSM FP’s! Look who we had to stop and see on our way..he ended up making Little Guy do push ups!:

And then they had to show me their muscles:

I don’t know if any of you remember, but on our last trip together in 2010, we had a great interaction with the army men as well. They are always so much fun!

After saying bye to our friend, it was time to ride TSM! The only thing I don’t like about the FP line is that you don’t get to go through the whole queue and see everything. There is so much attention to detail in that line! I think I find something new every time. One of my favorite parts of the line:

I, of course, lost to DH. It was still fun though. And who here has the TSM game for the Wii? We do and love it!

After that, it was time to head back to BLT and swim/cool off for a bit.

Our bus was pulling up as we got in line at our stop!

Back at the room, I wanted to make sure I got a picture of the California Grill construction for you guys!

While we are excited to see the new changes, DH and I were hoping to take everyone there this trip since they have never been there. But, when we went to make ADR’s and found out it was going to be closed, I got a little sad. Oh well. Next trip!

Little Guy remembered the slide at the other pool and really wanted to go there, so we were at that pool for the day. Had to say hi to our Mickey ears!

Of course, while they swam, Mom and I found a table in the shade and got drinks at the bar. That frozen lemonade tasted good on such a hot day!

And as our luck would have it, soon we heard the whistles from the lifeguards. They were closing the pool down for weather again!

Instead of going back to the room, we decided to wait it out since we were underneath a roof and away from the pool by the drink bar. We used some of our snack credits to get a few things to munch on such as nachos and pita bread with hummus. Both were so good! I didn’t eat too much though; I was saving room for dinner!

It hardly rained and eventually the pool opened back up! We let them swim for a little bit longer, and then it was time to head back to the room and get ready. I was so excited, I could hardly keep calm. The whole way to the MK, I had butterflies. On the walkway from BLT to the main tower:

Chef Mickey’s from the monorail platform:

Look what monorail we got to ride!!:

Uncle and Little Guy were ahead of me:

It was such a nice night, so we decided to get our photopass picture on Main Street. As you might know, that’s a tradition of ours. We had this frame made at the Christmas shop so long ago. It is the wooden frame with black Mickey heads in each corner. We had hand painted at the top our last name and at the bottom, it says “Our Disney Vacation”. Each trip, we take a picture on Main Street and replace the one from the trip before. It is so fun to see how much we have changed over the years. Sorry I don’t have it right now to show you!

After our group picture, the CM had Little Guy stand alone to do the Tinkerbell picture. Little Guy had no clue why he was supposed to hold his hands out like that until I told him.

I saw that the Castle was open, so I said let’s walk through there! I love looking at the beautiful walls that tell the story of Cinderella.

Here’s a different view from the front of the Castle:

Can you see Little Guy up on DH’s shoulders way up there?:

I was being a slow poke and enjoying the moment of being inside the Castle. We did not eat at CRT this trip, but have previous trips and loved it. It’s a really neat experience to say you ate inside the Castle!

Where were we headed for dinner? Where was I going to finally be their guest? If you guessed Be Our Guest, then you’re right! I was SO excited to finally be eating there. I watched all of the progress of the restaurant being built online. Kristen and Chris ate there on their honeymoon last Fall, so they got me even more excited about eating there. I already knew what I wanted to eat and everything.

**Continued in next post**

**Continued from previous**

I went up with Dad to check us in, which is a little booth right before the bridge. She saw my button and got so excited. She made sure to add it to our reservation. If she hadn’t seen my button, I was going to tell her because I want to try the Grey Stuff! I also requested, if we could, to sit in the ballroom. I told her I understood if we couldn’t, but I just wanted to try!

After we were given our pager, we were allowed to wait on the bridge. There is a CM standing at the entrance to make sure you have a pager. Otherwise, you are not allowed to get any closer!

I kept going back and forth from side to side to check everything out. On one side, you can see Maurice’s cottage, which is where Enchanted Tales with Belle is. There’s also a little waterfall.

On the other side, you can see more of the New Fantasyland and the Little Mermaid ride and the new Mine ride construction.

Cinderella Castle from where we were:

After awhile of standing, I was ready to sit down. Luckily, they have places to sit and wait right up by the front door to the restaurant. After a few more minutes, our pager was going off! We waited for our CM to come out and say our name. When she did, I jumped up and yelled “US!” Okay, maybe I didn’t jump since I’m not as quick on my feet right now, but you get the idea!

As soon as she opened the doors and we walked in, I got tears in my eyes. I was so excited to finally see my favorite movie come to life. She gave us a little tour of the “Master’s Castle” as she called it on the way to our table. She told us we had one of the best seats in the ballroom. She wasn’t lying! We were right underneath one of the beautiful chandeliers.

We could see into the West Wing and could also see the snow falling outside the windows.

We were also by the open path, so the Beast walked right passed us when he was announced! He gave Little Guy a quick hug before continuing on.

Our menu and the cute rose shaped napkin:

Mom and I had the shrimp and scallops dish, while the guys and Little Guy had the steak. Both entrees were delicious! If we go back, I think I’ll get the steak next time. And yes, along with dessert came…the GREY STUFF! It’s hard to describe how it tastes. It kind of reminds me of oreo flavored whipped cream. After our meal, Little Guy and Uncle went and checked out the West Wing to watch the portrait quickly change from the Prince to the Beast. Then, Little Guy went and met the Beast. Mom has that picture! On our way out, there’s this:

After our wonderful meal, we didn’t really have a plan. Little Guy wanted to do the race cars again, so him DH and Uncle headed that way. Mom, Dad, and I stopped in here to see if there was anything I needed to buy for the baby:

Nothing he really needed!

We sat in the grand stands again and waited for them. When they were done, we headed to Buzz, which was only a 10 minute wait!

While everyone else headed back to the room, DH and I headed to the Rose Garden to get a spot for the Celebrate the Magic show on the Castle before Wishes.

It was such a neat show! It starts about 15 minutes before Wishes, so I really recommend it for anyone who wants to see it! I didn’t take any pictures because I just wanted to enjoy being in the moment with DH.

After the show was done, we still had a few minutes before Wishes started, so we hurried through the Noodle Station and down Main Street just in time for it to begin. Instead of the monorail, we walked back to BLT. I was tired from such a long day, so we walked a little slow. We made it to the BLT doors right as the Wishes finale was going on. It was a good ending to our day!
