Disney directors get 6,000 options

The 11 board members of Disney Co., including newly named Chairman George Mitchell, were granted 6,000 options for Disney (DIS: news, board) common stock, according to regulatory filings.

The options were granted Monday and have an exercise price of $26.84.

Disney shares closed at $26.80, up 15 cents.
