Hi everyone...quicly glanced over the posts...Melissa so happy all is well w/DH...sorry about the "bowl" incident, truly, I am...:rotfl2: seriously tho...how is it WE can get to the toilet to barf, but husbands and children can't?
Sandy, SNOW? uuugghhhhhh! I don't think I could bear it this close to June. We are awaiting the Cicada invasion...have not seen/heard one yet and they are prediting zillions fo them. However, I am far from disapppointed that they ahave not shown up yet.
Art Guy just picked up DD for Pirates 3 and she is treating him to dinner as a surprise afterward. You guys, if ever there was a ray of sunshine in this house w/my parental dilemma, it is Art Guy. He is the best. He stops by to see DD every day ( not easy since they both work 3-4 days a week) usaully has flowers, card, something sweet and adorable for her. Then Thursday he shows up with a portrait of her that her drew from Prom...amazing. I mean, this guy is the whole package. DS says he thought he was good at treating girls like a queen until now. And DH? Well, sifice it to say he could learn a thing or 2 himself.
So, my folks. Well, the flight took it's toll on my mom as I figured...so I have been walking on egg shells here hoping she is healthy enough for her Dr. Appt on June 1. It was supposed to be earlier, but Ilive about 75 minutes from Loyola Hosp and she cannot be in a car that long with edema in her legs, so waiting for it to go down and hope that avein does not burst agian...Oh, that's right, I have not been on. She has varicos veins and spider veins that will just burst, and bleed everywhere...no warnig, no reason....so that has been fun. So we had to post pone the office visit which has post poned the surgery...I think...to be honest, who knows if they will even do it anymore. My mom has Osteoarthritis, Osteopororis, highblood pressure, anemia, curvature of the spine and condensed organs form the curvature, and now she has 2 very large cycts on her ovaries that require a full hysterectomy vis a verticle incision...(quite frankly too close to the aorta in my opinion)that will take her months to recover from, IF the results are non-cancerous. We have tried everything to go a less invasive route. She is 78, and in poor health. They can miss and hit the spine, organs, who knows how twisted and wrapped up the cycyts are in there...oh, she's calling, have to go, but there it is for now ladies, will get back when I can
BTW, My DS won YOAMD ears in the mail last week...was so cool!

Pam

Happy Memorial Day to everyone! Unfortunately, since I was out of the office all last week, I have a couple of things that have to be ready for first thing in the morning. That means that I had to come in for a couple of hours.

MamacatNV - That's tooo funny about swapping recipes while DH looked on. You might as well get something out of it! :rotfl:

I'm glad to hear that the surgery went well, and things are progressing toward getting back to normal (slowly ;) ).

Sandy V. - I couldn't believe it about the snow. The day you posted that, there were people in the pool (outdoor pool) at my hotel. I like snow, but I'll take that pool, I think! :rotfl:

FINFAN - I'm so sorry to hear that your mother's health is not doing well. It sounds like a scary and complicated situation. I hope it improves soon.

Hooray for your son and the YOAMD ears!

Concerning ArtGuy, isn't it funny how something that has turned out so well came from such a frustrating situation? I'm glad they're having such fun. That's great for both of them. My young'un and her BF have gone fishing today (should be interesting since she doesn't have much fishing experience ;) ).

Hope everybody has had a GREAT weekend!

Good morning, everyone. I hope that you had a great Memorial Day weekend.

Melissa, glad to hear that you and your family survived your DH's surgery. An ice cream bar? What kind of recovery food is that?!?!? :rotfl: No wonder he got sick! You have my condolences; I am NOT good at cleaning up vomit. Hope you did get some good martini recipes out of the deal!! I'm also glad I didn't have to fly out there to offer my services.

Pam, I'm so sorry about your mom's health. It really sounds like you have a full plate there with very legitimate concerns about how she's going to get on ANYWHERE at this moment. Are you still battling her for the use of your living room as her bedroom?

I'm so glad that Art Guy is a bright spot for your family. Isn't it great that something that started out so stressful (your daughter's pre-prom experience with Jerk) had such a bright result?

Horseshowmom, did you have a relaxing time at your conference and at the hotel? I hope so. I hope that your DD and her boyfriend had a successful day of fishing. I haven't fished often, but I do like it - as long as SOMEONE ELSE baits my hook!! :lmao:

Well, no more snow here, so that's a good thing. :cool1: Partly cloudy days with some rain in the afternoon - the typical spring stuff.

DS is all finished with school and is VERY happy about that. Got the grades - 6 A' and a B, so Mom and Dad were pleased. DS is very bright, but he is a "fly by the seat of my pants" kinda kid - he makes me nag him at times to make sure he gets everything done, whereas DD was Little Miss Goody Two Shoes as far as academics went. Proof positive that our kids arent' cloned - they have VERY distinct personalities!

Got the ACT results back on Saturday and he scored well enough for guaranteed admission to the University of Colorado-Boulder, which is where he wants to go anyway, so things are good on that front. Now we wait until September for him to apply.

DS and girlfriend are in "spat" mode right now, so I anticipate a breakup. Such is the life of a 17-year old casanova! But if I know my son, his social life won't suffer.

DD and her boyfriend will celebrate being together 2 years this week. He leaves to work at a wolf preserve on Friday for the summer and I know she will REALLY miss not seeing him every day.

We had a great weekend. Threw the frisbee around, rode our Harley :moped: (beautiful weather Sunday morning), went to a concert in Boulder on Saturday evening, went out to dinner, attended Territory Days in Old Colorado City yesterday (street fair with vendors and all sorts of food and a beer garden :drinking1 ). But the best time we had was Sunday night when we spent hours, just the four of us, talking and laughing. It's sometimes the simplest moments that mean the most.

Well, that's all on the Colorado front. I'm back at my desk working. Check in when you can, and everyone have a great day!! :yay:

Good Morning ladies:

Thank you for all the well wishes for DH - he has recuperated well (thanks to me;) ) and headed back to work this morning:woohoo: I cut him off of the Vicodine on Friday night and switched him to Advil, he was such a total space cadet we couldn't stand it any longer. He started to come out of his fog on Saturday and was feeling so much better.

Horseshowmom: Are you having withdrawals upon returning home to reality? Too bad you had to work yesterday while the rest of us were lounging around - oh, but wait, last week you were the one lounging;) :rotfl: Did your Chihuahau and DH survive each other? I have this mental picture of you walking in the door, DH is out flat on the floor with the mighty Chihuahua standing on his chest growling:lmao:
Did you have fish for dinner??????:)

Sandy: Sounds like you had a fabulous weekend, so glad the weather finally caught up with you!
My DS is also one of those fly by the seat of your pants kinda kid. (his sis is Miss. Compliant, excellent grades, ideal student yada yada, which she rubs in with every report card:lmao: )It does not matter how much I nag, his GPA is about a 3.25 weighted and that is only because that is our requirement for him to keep driving and the qualifying requirement for the Millennium Scholarship here in NV.
So glad your DS is done, we are in the countdown, 7 days to go including today!
Congrats on the ACT and his grades - that is awesome!

Girl drama - yikes! They are funny to watch at this age, the relationships come and go regularly. Would that be "Grama"? Glad to hear he won't suffer for long:lmao:

DD's boyfriend seems to really have his act together, will they be able to occassionally see each other or is he headed off to the frozen tundra of Northern somewhere to the Wolf preserve?

Pam: ArtGuy sure did turn out to be a diamond in the rough, showing up DH, good for him. That means your DH has done his job and that your DD has "standards" that she learned from her Dad! So glad things are going well and that he treats your DD so well.
Sorry to hear about Mom, hope things are going ok, the issues sound really scary:hug: You have way more patience that I would, hang in there and know we are thinking about you! Did you ever resolve the living room vs. upstairs issue? Did your Dad end up staying in FL?

Powder Puff on Friday night was a blast! The Jr.'s lost, but they looked the best down to their tye dyed socks! The school no longer allows the boys to be cheerleaders:sad1: :sad2: evidently a parent of a cheerleader complained that it demeaned her daughters sport and the school disallowed it - how sad is that? Sometimes, I wonder what this world is coming to! After the game DS and I went to dinner and had some Mom/Son time which was really nice.

Saturday I did nothing - slept, ate, slept ate some more etc...

Sunday, we took DD to see Pirates since her brother and his "friend" went the night before. I am so lost, I really need to go back and watch the other 2, the 2 kids had to bring me and DH up to speed at dinner last night:rotfl:

Yesterday I went shopping at Kohl's (I love that place, I could be their poster child) I needed some new capris the ones I had were either falling apart or too big - so I got some new ones, 2 sizes smaller than anything else in my closet.

DS came home on Sunday all wound up, he is a lifeguard at the local water park and had to pull a 33 yr. old woman out of the wave pool. It was his first real adult "save", he pulls kids out regularly, but evidently she got knocked out of her tube during the "waves" and totally panicked. She was ok, but he was rather shook up - it reinforced to him how serious his job really is.

My DS got his SAT scores: 600 Reading:thumbsup2 490 Math:sad2:(although not surprising) 570 Writing - not bad since he has never cracked open a SAT study guide of any kind but I want him to retake them in the Fall. I don't know alot about where his scores should be, but the math seems really low and the rest kinda average..

That is my update - hope all is well in your corners of the World - have a great day all!

Melissa

Hello out there??????

Where you guys all at??????

Nothing new to report, just checking in

Hello to everyone!

I am adjusting to being back in the real world (where the maid doesn't come in everyday, and nobody prepares my meals for me :guilty: ). ;)

My Chihuahua did survive my being gone. A couple of days after I got home, DD came to my room after letting him out (and back in) before going to bed. She said, can I please open your door and let this dog (insert sarcasm here) in? I said yes and asked what the problem was. She stated (exasperatedly) that he was a smart aleck. DH rolled his eyes at me and suggested (under his breath) that the dog might have had a good reason (due to the personalitly conflict between the dog and DD :rotfl: ). I swear, you'd think they were brother and sister instead of a human and a dog. :sad2:

DD caught LOTS of fish, but they were primarily 3 inch bream (maybe fish nuggets for dinner, mamacatnv?) which she caught and released. :rotfl: BF wanted to cut them in half to use for bait, and she refused. She said they were pretty little fish and that if he tried to cut them up, she'd cry. He decided against using them for bait. ;) BTW, Sandy V., she didn't bait her own hook (or take the fish off either for that matter).

Sandy V. ~ Congratulations on your son's grades and ACT scores. It looks like he's progressing well. The wolf preserve job sounds really interesting and should make for an interesting summer.

Mamacatnv ~ Congratulations to your son on doing his job so well. He can be proud of himself. Being a lifeguard is a tough job (more than just being admired by the girls, huh ;) ). It sounds like he's doing a great job!

Two sizes smaller - Girl, you make me sick! :upsidedow

Hi everyone! This darned work gets in the way of my posting!! :lmao:

Melissa, wow- your son is a hero. You should be so proud of him!!! Sounds like your weekend was a good one - glad to hear it. Glad that DH is better and off the "good" drugs. Your weight loss is very impressive. Good for you! I'm down and size, which is good, but I need to get "serious" about my efforts again soon so they don't come undone.

Horseshowmom, sorry that you had to return to the "real" world. :) I think it's so funny about your DD and the dog and the battles they have. About as funny as listening to my two teenagers fight (as long as they don't try and drag me in the middle to negotiate). Also glad that she didn't have to bait her own hook!!!!

Boyfriend's wolf preserve job is about 2-3 hours from here. DD and boyfriend's parents are taking him there tomorrow morning. He'll be working with their education programs and live IN A TENT for his time down there. Better him than me; my idea of "roughing it" is a motel without cable television!! They are planning on visiting every couple of weeks. I know that DD will really miss him. But she starts back with her old retail job on Sunday, so she'll be kept busy as well.

Turns out the DS and girlfriend did NOT break up, but they're "cooling it" for awhile. I think that that means that they may still eventually break up, buy hey - what do I know?!?!

Thank you for the compliments on his grades and test scores. He's a good kid MOST of the time. ;) Both DS and DD cleaned the house yesterday, so they're in my good graces!!

Pam - thinking about you and I hope that you're doing well. Hugs from all of us.

Have a great day, everyone!

The Chihuahua really is entertaining. Last night, he kept running back and forth in front of DD's cat (not paying any attention to the cat at all). Finally, I guess the cat (who is a little larger than the dog) had had enough. As Chachi ran by for the last time, the cat took his foot and shoved Chachi out of the way. :rotfl: To which DD responded, "Good boy, Stormy, don't let him intimidate you." (Oh yeah, Stormy's really intimidated. We refer to him as His Royal Highness Stormy Cat ;) ) :rotfl2:

As far as roughing it, I'm in complete agreement. I grew up camping/boating at the lake every weekend, but we had a large, air conditioned motorhome with all the comforts. No tents, please!

A quick hello to all......stress level climbing here, yes, mom is upstairs, but DD is starting to wear thin from sleeping on the twin blow up mattress, and with finals next week all they way 'till Friday and then her second take at the ACT on Sat at 8 am ( an hour away no less) she needs decent sleep. If I let her sleep on the couch then my mom will figure it's ok for HER to sleep on the couch...uuuuggh. DD is also sad as Art Guy has been dodging our place, trying to be respectful of privacy right now etc., but DD is so used to him coming over everyday that she is bumming big time. They are going somewhere tonight tho, so that will help. DD's birthday is this Friday as well, but I have not gotten to any planning/party etc., and don't see how yet.
You guys are so sweet to keep thinking of me, and it DOES put a smile on my face to read all the fun and "that's life" stuff going on for everyone. My Dad says he can't get up here until July and can we hold off on the surgery 'till then..:scared1: no way...I just cannot live like this another month to 6 weeks and THEN take on the post care...and have him here...we live for our summer here, and I feel as if it is being completely taken away.
Well, enough whining on my part, I must keep in mind that these weeks may be the last "normal" ones with my mom, but we were never close and this is awkward. My sister is MIA, have not heard a word from her in years and have tried to contact her on this medical issue, but no response. My one brother is helpful, but when available...I even asked if he could take my mom for the next week until finals are over, but I guess it won't work out. Yes, Art Guy is the best, especially for DD right now.
So, keep on keepin' on ladies, sorry to be so "all about me" in my posts...I guess I am just pouting, and I need to snap out of it.
AWESOME job on the goal of weightloss girls, you put me to shame...I don't think I will even wear a pair of shorts this summer..veins in the legs like road maps...I get tired of the stares and little kids asking if they "hurt".
Melissa, WOW on the SAT's...very impressive..but I must say, the lifesaving is even more impressive...way to go...
Sandy...do we need to rename the thread to "Dating-Drama?" If DD and Art Guy hit the skids ( which they all do evenually) it will be horrible around here. Hopefully it is the normal off to college type of breakup when it happens..that way they are not HERE being miserable! DD scored high enough of her ACT's for her college choices as well, but is retaking it, for some reason she wants 3 more points...we'll see what happens.
Horseshowoman...welcome back to th real world, I would like to escape myself for a bit...maybe I need to put on DS new ears and pretend I am walking around WDW for a bit. My family will think that I have totally lost it...which, actually , is the path I am heading down!

Well, off we go, taking Mom to Loyola for dr visit...should know more info after today! As always, I will post when I can, but have a great weekend ladies!

Pam

Pam, I think it's a good thing to vent a little bit. It helps you get through the days. Feel free, I'd say you deserve it.

I'm sorry that things are so complicated right now. Obviously, it's hard on the whole family. Tell you daughter best wishes on her exams and the ACT. I might let her sleep on the couch the night before (whether grandma likes it or not) to help her rest better.

I hope the birthday provides a bright spot for everyone!

My goodness, Pam, you are a VERY strong person to put up with all that's on your plate right now. You can always vent away to us; sometimes you need to!!!

I would go ahead and let DD sleep on the couch and to HECK with what your mom thinks. She is a guest and shouldn't dictate terms.

Yeah, the whole "teenage relationship" thing can be dicey. I'm so happy that ArtGuy has been a bright spot for your daughter. DS and girlfriend apparently are on better terms at the moment, but I'm keeping FAR away from sticking my nose into that situation. I printed off the Prom photos at Wal-Mart two days ago. They turned out nice and I gave DS a set to put up on his bulletin board in his room. Hasn't done so yet - don't know what THAT means (if anything). He's been kinda moody since school got out, so I've been giving him some space.

DS is also trying to find a job, but they're scarce around here for teenagers at the moment. We're trying to work it into something he could also so part-time in the fall, and there aren't many openings.

:rotfl: To which DD responded, "Good boy, Stormy, don't let him intimidate you." Your dog and cat are SO funny - they're just miniature humans with slightly altered DNA. ;) Tundra is in what we call the "molting" stage right now - she's blowing her undercoat so she is one HAIRY mess! So it's daily brushings for her, which isn't her favorite thing to do but she endures it and gives out lots of heavy sighs and she pouts.

DD, boyfriend, and his parents are on the way to the Wolf Preserve, so I know that we'll be called on tonight to make DD feel better, because I know she'll be sad. :sad1:

For me, the worst part about a tent is the sun beating in first thing in the morning. And the no-showers thing - or, you have to go to some public building to take a shower. I'm not a good back to nature girl in that way, unfortunately I'm a little more "high maintenance" than that!!

Melissa, hope all is well in Nevada. DD, the newly graduated bartender, made us a new (for us) drink called a Bacardi cocktail. Bacardi Silver, Sweet and Sour mix, and grenedine. Very refreshing and good for summer. Not a martini, mind you, but it "works".

I hope that everyone has a good day!! :goodvibes

Happy Monday to everyone!!

Well, not a whole heck to report from out here in Colorado, but it was a nice weekend, so that's good.

Went for a family hike on Saturday morning in a canyon not far from our house (think less than 5 minutes). We ARE spoiled to have that opportunity so close. The weather was absolutely perfect.

DH and I rode the motorcycle on Sunday. Had a good time UNTIL we got caught in a short hailstorm!! I had on a full face helmet so I was okay, even though I got hit twice in the leg. DH, on the other hand, had on a half-helmet and got pelted in the face at least a half a dozen times with pea-sized hail. Really stung and left marks like insect bites. Thankfully, we were only in it for about a minute, but it sure felt like a LONG time!! Those storms build up quickly over the Rocky Mountains.

Today is Tundra's birthday. She turns 8. I don't know if anyone else celebrate's their pets birthdays, but we do. So she's getting a large bone to chew on today as her "present". :cake:

DD is missing boyfriend, but they've been able to talk on the phone and on the computer through Skype, so all is better.

DS and his girlfriend had a successful 2-month "anniversary" ;) celebration on Saturday night, so things are better there. He's out putting in more applications for jobs and will be pulling weeds around here later on. I think he would like to lounge around all summer, but that isn't going to happen!! Either he earns some spending money by working for someone else, or he works for Mom and Dad!!

Well, back to work, but I hope that everyone is doing well. Check in when you can, and have a Happy Monday!!!

Hi all, surgery is set for the 14th, DD is in her math final right now..she is stressed BIG time...this final will determine high honor roll or not, and her current GPA. Throwing together a small surprise party for her birthday...ACT is Sat morning and will go to dinner that evenig, and have kids waiting in the house when we get back. I will have snacks/drinks, but they can entertain themselves, not even sure if they will all stay here, but at least the surprise part can happen. With my mom here , they will more than likely take off, I know I would at 17. I was hoping I could get my mom in a night early for the surgery, to alleviate logistics of the hour ride in horrible tollway construction and dealing with the kids etc., but her insurance will not cover it. I am going to check into how much OOP...it is that important to me to have her there and not be freaking out at 5 am trying to get there. The stress is in the pathology report right now...trying to arrange for the "what if" of Ovarian cancer. Not to mention the recovery. If it isn't cancer which would be great, then they are treating this as "same day" surgery and won't cover any rehab which means back here to recover which is scary....someone in great health, not too much of a problem, but she is more complicated. Mom is fairly crabby as a lot of her normal meds and painkillers will stop after today until after surgery.
Well, hope all is on the upswing with everyone, I will be more comfortable when I know exactly what we are dealing with. Tomorrow is the pre-op which is over 3 hours...:confused3 seems pretty long to me, but there ya go. Had to pull DD from work last week and this week as I cannot get her to work and be "doctoring" gramma at the same time..so DD is getting antsy, brole, I am never home and when I am it is like I am not me.
On the upside, decided to get DD a camera for her birthday, she has been longing for one ofr a few years and with all the photos she will be taking for reference in college for her art, seems likea good time. She is after a 15x optical zoom...but likes the sub-compact sizes in digital, however such an item is not out there for the general public yet. I need to head to the photography board to learn what may be best.
Have a goos ones ladies...Art Guy continues to wow DD, poems in "their" locker, wrote a song about/for her, portraits, flowers...I think I know why older couples may hit the skids when their kids start dating...you see what no longer occurs for you and look for it again!

Pam

I'm glad that you checked in, Pam. I've been thinking about you. :goodvibes

Warmest wishes to you and your family. I hope the surgery goes well, but man, you DO have more than a few days to get through before that!!

Also, good luck to your DD on her math final!! I looked at DS's transcript online yesterday, and he actually moved up 9 places in class ranking, which we were thrilled about. We have a large high school and his class is huge (455 students), but it was nice to see his hard work pay off!! Tell her Happy Birthday from all of us!!

As for cameras, sounds like what your DD wants is much more complex than what our needs were, but we bought our DD a Canon Power Shot (don't remember the model number offhand) for Christmas and she LOVES it. I agree; the Photography Board might be a good place for you to start. DH and I have a Nikon D70, which is a LARGE digital camera with the ability to changes lens (we have a "normal" one and a super long one for distance shots/sports shots/capturing wildlife) that we love. I do know that Nikon is a great brand, but there are other very reliable brands as well. I don't know what your budget is, and ours was not exactly cheap - we bought it before we went on a family trip to Australia and New Zealand; figured we weren't going back there again anytime in the near future and wanted to take some good quality photos. It's been a very good camera for us.

Best of luck with everything, and thanks for taking the time to check in.

Looking forward to hearing from the rest of you!!

Thanks for the camera tips Sandy, wow, what an amazing trip! I, too, woud've invested in a high quality camera. DD's graduating class is just shy of 1,000....so being in the 75% and up is worthy here! She just got home and said it was extremely hard...Art Guy also had his math final and said he did decent, so we'll see.
O.K. Off to take gramma to the pharmacy!

Pam

Hey all-I am off with the stomach flu - this is the sickest I have been in forever, I'll catch up in a day or two when I return to humandome.

Hope all is well-

Feel better soon, Melissa!! :goodvibes

Sandy V. - I was watching America's Funniest Home Videos the other night and though about Tundra. There was a clip of a backyard that was backed by woods. The yard had a german shepherd in it, and there was a deer at the edge of the woods. That dear came out of the woods and chased that shepherd all over the yard. The dog would try to get out of the deer's way, but that deer would not let up until the dog ran to the house. ;)

FINFAN - I hope things go well with your mother. I know things are tough right now.

mamacatnv
- I hope you're better soon. I had that back in December, and it was at the top of the list as far as being sick in my life. Best wishes...:flower3:

I've had a bad couple of days, and I'm pretty depressed today. We had a white husky looking dog show up at our house last Thursday. We're in a rural area and have a lot of animals abandoned (which is why I have so many). He didn't look too well cared for. I put Frontline on him (he was covered in ticks) and decided to let him stay (assuming he didn't "go back" to somewhere. I called around the neighborhood and couldn't find anybody who either knew him or had ever seen him.).

He was very friendly and wanted to be a big pet. If you sat on the ground, he wanted to put his whole (large) body in your lap. You could see he was thrilled with the attention.

DH is a teacher and is out for the summer. Monday he was working in the backyard when Snowman (the dog) attacked our Siamese cat out of the blue (had him by the throat shaking him). If DH hadn't been there, Snowman would have killed Scooter. In fact, we couldn't find the cat until the next day and was afraid he was severely injured (he had run away when DH dragged Snowman off of him). He was really traumatized.

We put Snowman in our 6 ft. tall kennel while we decided what to do next. DD and her BF came home and asked why we had let Snowman out. He had climbed over the 6 ft. tall chain link fence.

We put him in the horse trailer next (it's pretty big and in the shade) to contain him while we tried to figure out what to do with him (opened all of the windows but left the bars up, so he couldn't climb out). We put plenty of food and water in there, and DH checked on him from time to time yesterday to make sure he was okay. When DD and her BF checked on him the last time, they found him dead. We don't know whether he started jumping trying to get out and wore himself out (getting too hot) or may have fallen and broken his neck.

DD came in to get DH, and they tried to avoid telling me, because they knew how upset I would be. I'm absolutely sick and feel so bad. We have no animal shelters in our county (or any of the adjoining counties for that matter), and the shelters in the cities won't take out of county animals. I currently have 3 dogs and 12 cats - all of whom were abandoned. I've had them spayed/neutered and take care of them (I just lost one last December to liver disease/failure after a year and a half of treatment). DH keeps telling me that I did all that I could, but I still feel horrible. I just want to lay down and cry somewhere. :sad1:

Oh, Horseshowmom, I am so sorry. Hugs from me.

It sounds like you did everything you could for this doggie. I know that it hurts so bad when things turn out this way. :flower3: :sad1:

Yes, Tundra would fit just as well in that America's Funniest Home Videos. Except her tactic is to totally pretend that the deer in our yard don't exist. That way, she doesn't have to be humiliated. :)

I'm sorry that you're sad, and I hope that your day gets better. :grouphug:

I didn't sleep much last night and can't seem to get any work done today (and I have two projects that absolutely must get finished). I met with the auditor this morning to provide her with some info (fortunately, no problems there), but she mentioned that I looked awful.

I appreciate your kind thoughts, thanks very much!
